    This is weird advice since its pretty locational to certain regions of the states. And what we use to replace the t also differs between those regions

    • @myalways5052
      @myalways5052 Před 28 dny

      States? It's nuts to realise but English is native to England. The name is probably the biggest giveaway. If people are talking about 'English' spoken in other countries, it's qualified; Australian English, Canadian English etc

    • @lilithium3940
      @lilithium3940 Před 28 dny

      @myalways5052 cool and my point stands even stronger from your point of view then- unless you genuinely believe that this rule holds true for all of Australia, Britain and Canada. I was speaking from my perspective, since I've never been to those places you've listed and so am not qualified to give advice on those areas. I understand you wanted some sort of gotcha so I hope this explanation doesn't lessen your feeling of superiority

    • @myalways5052
      @myalways5052 Před 28 dny

      @@lilithium3940 The fact that you feel I've validated your point, in any way, is crazy. My point is that this was about English speakers, i.e. the English. We don't have states so I can only assume you're from the USA, based on the reference to states, the presumption that it's about you and your lack of comprehension, regarding my response. Nothing you say or do is going to affect how I feel about myself. I'm sure the irony is lost on you that you feel you have that power, whilst Inferring that I am the one with a false sense of superiority.

    The assumption that no one can speak Japanese is so strong, that you could be 100% Japanese and lived their all your life and you dye your hair blond and someone will go, "Oh your Japanese is so good!" I have actually heard it is kind of annoying to Japanese who are not full Japanese who live in Japan, because people don't think they can speak it some times. So you shouldn't be afraid. It is almost impossible to offend someone by saying something wrong. You could probably curse at them, and they would be "Oh your Japanese so good!"
