I have Lego rails but whenever I (attempt to) make an oval. The curved rails don’t work! I need help.
What do you mean by don't work? Can you elaborate?
@@NonsenseWars all curved track is the same size and the inside line keeps getting longer and since it’s curved I cant put a big plate under them.

Very cool. Maybe use the cross axle/non-fiction pin to stabilize the wheels. 3749 with 32064 Too bad the longer pin is not available without friction. 11214 I you use different rims, than a long axle could connect the 2 rims.
I strongly considered using an axle, but the problem is you need a stop or a bushing to keep the hub on, which hurts the aesthetics a bit. Definitely an option if functionality is preferred over aesthetics though.

Look good, though I wonder how much extra drag the plastic axles will cause vs the old metal ones. Don't know how the design with the new wheels compares but even lubricated the technic axles are pretty high friction.
This is definitely worse than the old metal axle wheelsets. It's probably even worse than the plastic wheelsets. However, it might not be any worse than Technic axles, which is what would otherwise be used in this model.

I tried seeing if any one on CZcams has done a UP 9000 steam locomotive build but I can't find anyone that has. So on that note is it possible to build a lego UP 9000 steam. locomotive

Does the train also stop when it looses signal or you turn your phone screen off? That's my biggest issue with Powered Up, absolutely terrible design! Running PU trains at shows basically requires me to put the remote in a railcar otherwise it looses connection because of all the interference.
I wonder what the results would be if instead of just putting tires on one side, you only put them on one axle or alternated which side they were on? I've never even considered doing such experiments myself as all my locomotives seem to struggle for traction as it is, I countered this by adding a lot of weight to them. Though all of them just use the standard LEGO train boggies, even the steam locomotives, which are actually tender driven.

So I made you train but every time I try to run it the non driving wheel don’t move and make the piston get stuck and forces the entire train stop how does one fix this ?

@@oxygen454 Those two towers were the some of the first computers we had in my family! I was maybe eight or nine at the time, but it was already at the tail end of 56k... we had dialup for maybe two or three years before DSL became widespread. Twenty years later still waiting for fiber to reach our area though rofl.
I remember seeing one of these shunting carts at Sheffield Station when I was 8 but that was almost 13 years ago so whether or not it's still there is hard to say
