Just seeing this wonderful relay technology makes your eyes light up. The old technology still works and it's fun to work with it. It's a shame that the signal box is going out of service. I would be surprised if the electronics lasted nearly as long. I don't know whether electronics are also part of the future for railways. Certainly somewhere else, but in my opinion not on the railways. It is simply too short-lived and fragile. Thank you for this great post, albeit with a sad background. ​
