    This video is what i needed. I am 42 years old, a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu been training for 14 plus years with a ton of mileage in the body 😢.     Love it, says he doesn't eat vegetables because of pesticides but is just fine eating blueberries with pesticides and meat that's been treated with who knows what. Not trying to hate on him but where's the logic in that? If you don't like or don't want to eat vegetables just say that.     I love this-- I am in my mid-50s & have been doing the 30-minute or 45 min workout for years now- Go to the gym alone stretch, run for 10 min pump a body part do sprints in between sets & go home. One customer at the gym surprised me one day when he asked if I was training for something. I said yes good health and longevity. Mr bridges continue to have the time of your life.

    What I love about Josh is the simplicity. We live in an era where people fuss about every nuance in exercise, sets reps, execution, can’t do cardio and weights, what’s optimal etc and in the end it doesn’t matter. Just get in, move and get something done and consistency wins out.

    30 minutes is not a lot of time folks. Consider all of the other things one might do in a day. Sleep; up to 8 hrs a day; eating, 2-5 meals a day, more or less, 1 hr; hygiene 1 hr; work, 8-10 hrs, including commute time; family and other commitments, 2-4 hrs. Excuses, there seems to be more than carter has pills so, throw out the pills, mind over the matter. Key is to start something, albeit short and sweet, then next is a daily commitment. Make a time that coincides with when one seems to actually waste, like empty carbs. It is a give and take scenario if need be to eventually make the time accountable. Save to this; when one goes to the grocery store, (market), we generally shop for sometimes the best deal but overlook the nutritional values on food items but generally always look for the best deals on on non perishables. As one starts paying attention to what they are consuming in fuel for their bodies, they start to see what gives them the best bang for their buck. When one starts to realize that in order to find health benefits by eating better, the exercise may already be a part of eating but sometimes follows. This may be when we find ourselves curtailing those empty carbs more for the foods that will give us more energy, recovery, etc.. Everything we generally do in our lives is finding more for our time, shopping, health, material items. This leads back to this beginning, more bang theory. By keeping ourselves healthier is by far the easiest to do once we understand that this is the foundation for all other parts of our life cycle. It not only sharpens the mind, but the body, physically. The true benefits of making this a daily routine overshadows all other components in our lives in such a way that maybe only you may find, your family as a whole also benefits because they then too, will become healthier. 30 minutes is absolutely nothing in terms of a quality, better life that everyone around you will benefit from. The challenge is of only to you. One of the reasons any of us who partner in staying healthy is first and foremost, ourselves, that will. over time, trickle out and find others. We all have our own paths in which we travel. Nothing is more enriching than giving this gift to yourself. Remember, no excuses. Start with simple movements each day then add to it each week. Key is; be consistent.
