People who can't hear how hard she's trying and failing to make her voice gruff obviously don't know heaps about acting. Someone said Mark Meer's voice is stoic and cold. That's clearly a lot of how the character is written save for the intentionally funny lines. She often has to hide her voice to get that clear direction across. She just doesn't have the pipes for it. In the first game especially, Hale sounds like she's in the middle of a sentence instead of at the end where she actually is. It's seemingly amateurish And don't get me wrong, she's a pro. Bastilla Shan she plays perfectly, she really has range. I just can't buy her "soldier" voice. It feels so put on. And completely lifeless. For w/e reason, Mark Meer has a voice that lends itself to getting away with more monotone delivery, maybe because it's deep and non distinct. Hale has a distinct voice that she is trying to hide to get her lines across. It doesn't work. In a voice acting booth, you are reading lots of lines quickly, often without second chances and occasionally without context. Hale's performance falls short even with these considerations. I think people who like Femshep really just enjoy the written lines and don't notice the lacking delivery.

Jennifer Hale is such a good voice actress. Maybe her mean voice is why people do the dark side ending in Kotor. And will in the remake.

I think the best Renegade moment in the video was the one not featured in the video. The one where the player ignores the first interrupts, Joram's advocate arrives, THEN announces Shepard's SPECTRE status. If you have somehow not seen it, I highly recommend using it in your next play-through.

I am a huge Mass Effect Fannin is my favorite franchise and for the longest time I used to play the male Shepard... because I always thought that there's no real difference. Until one day I thought about how all the times I played male Shepard you know Garrus was never a romance option and he deserves a little happiness. So one day I pick the female Shepard and I automatically loved the female Shepard just as much as the male Shepard maybe even more because only good reason for me is to play the male Shepard is to romance Tali zorah who's my favorite character of all video games but rather than that I played the female Shepard

Es ist so lange her und da jetzt classic wieder da ist, ist es ein unbeschreiblichen Gefühl. Bei der Quest zum 1 Jährigen war ich dabei. Heute sind wir auf Trancendens EU PVP Wipes and More. 3 von damals über 80 Mitgliedern sind noch geblieben ^^, aber wir haben auch neue Freunde gefunden. Geschichte die nie vergessen wird #15Jahre

Many of these are obvious to choose, I always kill my enemies with Renegade options, or if it was useful for information, altough i was like 70% paragon

What's interesting is the more you indulge the renegade side of shep the more it subtly *becomes* shep. I don't remember my paragon shephard introducing herself with a slight shove when she says she needs information. Your dialogue and movements become more stern, some of your party members follow your lead and behave more harshly as a result. That, and you look like the Terminator
