  • @philg4116
    @philg4116 Před 2 dny

    TWIMC a handled torx driver of screwdriver type, or a torx in a smitty, of size TBD, is needed to get the clutch drum off. A torx bit in a drill hex extender won't fit.

    • @fromcarstocomputers7261
      @fromcarstocomputers7261 Před 2 dny

      Mine has been good, it had needed a fuel line replacement after 12 years and then it needed a pull rope change and last year the bump head started letting the string out to east, so the release in it had gave out... but I had already stopped using it for the most part because I now have the Badger. But I do know some people have lots of problems with the Troybilts

    • @fromcarstocomputers7261
      @fromcarstocomputers7261 Před 8 dny

      That bar that holds the head on will detach from the machine itself ( about 2 feet up the bar from the bump head ) remove that and you will notice the inside shaft will turn when you move the bum head. find something to stop that from turning and then gently try to remove the bump head, if you put a lot of pressure you run the chance of further damage..... but it can take some strain as well.

    I decided to check to see if my unused 15yr old saw would do a long enough mitre cut. I flicked spider Webb's off and was checking the mitre adjust when it jammed and I couldn't budge it using all my force. Tried to fathom out why but could find any clues. Found your CZcams and followed your instructions . So I first sprayed the main bolt and round the movement slit with wd40. Just check for any movement, and wow it just worked. Very surprised. Thank you very much .

    8:04 Only thing I'd do different would be to cut the Solenoid connector off the old Carburetor and splice it onto the new carb's wiring with heat-shrink instead of cutting & replacing the connector from the mower's wiring to make the splice. Both ways work. I just like all my OEM electrical connectors to remain in place. Nice Video.🤑
