I have a 2020 Ram with air suspension. Can you explain how to get into off road 2 mode? Mine won’t let me go higher then off road 1. Thanks for the video. I agree; air suspension is totally worth it. Especially for a truck! Makes it Ride like a luxury sedan, higher ground clearance when off road and automatically load levels when hauling and towing.

I had a 2018 F150 FX4. It could not pull my 40 foot camper at all. Plus I had to put airbags on down. I purchased a 2018 ram rebel with the air suspension, it tows it like a dream! No problems whatsoever with squatting or nothing… Very pleased.

Buy German aftermarket front air struts and rear air bags from AKWH in Germany at 25% the cost of MOPAR and guarantee 12 months. I bought all complete air shocks for 2015 RAM all 4 wheels for $1,011.67 CDN shipped here to Canada. Only std shipping takes 3 to 4 weeks. I will take used defective shocks and check their leaks, I am a mechanical designer, thus I am told they leak around the incoming inlets. I will put some rubber sealant compound and layer it for strength, then pressure test them to see if they hold pressure for 48 hrs. If so I'll clean them up and put them in a box and wait for next failure. Here in Canada, it gets low -28 C, small leaks allow air to get into sealed nitrogen system bring in moist air that freezes at these extreme temps and then you have failure of air suspension and blowing of 40 amp fuse. For cold issue looking at designing heater wire wrapping around compressor and key metallic parts where frozen blockages occur. Don't get angry folks! Design around it and find solutions!

Really liking the Rebel 2021. My garage is 78in, so the fit is close bur a challenge. The air suspension will drop it down to fit. Can the car move when all the way down? Meaning drop it down to pull in and then move it out and bring it back up. Through I saw that when at the lowest level, you can’t/shouldn’t drive? Thoughts?

I have 2016 Laramie, and i have had to change one rear left air suspension once last year, and now today, the right one started deflating. Very annoying, since i dont haul much, i dont tow much, i drive really carefully and even offroad i dont push hard, so what am i doing wrong. It is kind of putting me off in buying a newer Ram. Over all the other trucks, i love the RAM.

Had the same problem with my Evo X. Used same method with a slide hammer. For anyone else doing thos job - save yourself hours and just go buy a slide hammer to do the job!

I have a Ram 1500 with an air suspension. It is garbage. It has failed multiple times. Do a web search and you will see the many people trying to deal with the inherent problems with these systems.

Do not get them as soon as it gets a little below freezing it stops working you have to wait for it to thaw again a few times like this that ruins your compressor or shred your hoses with the ice in the lines Ram needs to give us people who live in the cold climates at least a voucher to replace the system and put regular suspension in now I’m thinking of staying away from Ram and going back to Ford Which will suck because it’s been over 30 years since I’ve owned one I’m used to be a dodge ram myself
