I will say this. If MS is all about their MS Gaming tranformation away from Xbox Gaming... then stop charging for Online Connectivity. Or charge for it on PC too. Why is everyone not acknowledging the fact that MS is trying to move under the MS Gaming umbrella while still charging for online play on console. If MS really wants to mirror PC gaming, then stop charging for online connectivity.

I couldn't care less about advanced haptics, but using gyros for fine-tuned aiming and the like is something Xbox is seriously lacking.

The voices you're talking about are from 2 different fanbases. If MS says Exclusive: PayStation Ponies say thats so messed up and anti-consumer If MS says Port all games: XBots are saying thats messed up. This is why you say you feel like there's no pleasing everybody. Well duh, look at where the fanbases are coming from. Please own fans or please rival fans for money. Where do you think MS is gonna go? Just keep in mind... if you indeed wanna be a gamer, then availability on more platforms means more players so make your own bed and stop worrying about what MS is going to do and decide for yourself where to play. Personally I prefer the least expensive way to do it and many games in GP and my kids playing many games with GP and new games from MS are included... I play on XB (if I play at all).

There should never be exclusives! EVER! I don't care what system you are behind! Gamers want to play great games; these games should never be placed behind any single system! It only hurts the industry as a whole and denies all gamers easy access to the games they want to play, regardless of platform! Think of just how much more revenue Nintendo would generate if they released their core games on other systems! Their revenue would easily increase ten-fold! Screw exclusives! That time has long since past!

Remember when everyone got mad when they first announced the Xbox one? Everyone was so mad about digital download only and now barely anybody buys physical copies.

To be fair from what I've experienced the series s was a lot easier to find than the Series x for about two yrs. I didn't see a series x till about 2yrs after launch and I'd probably see a series s once or twice every 2-3 months in stores.

Honestly with all the stupid ass decisions they've made the past couple yrs I can see them being stupid enough to push a price hike. Ontop of that their xbox executives shoving DEI into everything I don't see this going very far financially.

I think putting halo or any other xbox game on another console is like xbox punching its audience in the face. I am that audience and it sucks Sony isn't giving up any of its executives

Xbox finally learned that games need to make money for studios to survive and Game Pass is great to promote small games but it destroys revenue for AAA games and screw up studios. They are basically using PlayStation users to pay for their games like PlayStation is using PC players to bring more money to their studios. The main difference is that PS5 is a best selling while Xbox is putting Xbox consoles at $100-$150 discount because it's stuck. To all of those who believed Phil Spencer's lies, good luck.

If there smart they need to make their WHOLE LIBRARY backwards compatible in the next console. Do something NONE of the other guys have done. That’s a start.

It is interesting everyone that hasn't built a "business" to a $1T valuation has the answers. I think sometimes we overstep and it is noisy. Feedback is great to show what we like, but to call their decisions as not making sense is an overstep. They are lead by actual data not emotion. If 10K community members are outraged that is loud to us, but out of over millions of customers the data might show a different perspective we are not aware of. Business is business. I believe the exec team's heart is in the right place, but when there are larger initiatives, data and ultimately shareholders involved there are compromises. So if there are broken promises, sure provide feedback. But don't discount the entire journey because there are decisions that go against how we think they should move (unless you are the leading shareholder in MS). And remember they have made decisions that the business wasn't exactly happy with (and lost revenue opportunities) that was beneficial for us. Have that same balance. Either you trust the team or you don't. I just say remember the line and provide feedback up to it, but don't cross because we don't have the future roadmap or data to be fully informed.

Lets summarize Xbox over the last year, Xbox makes exclusives equals Xbox is dying. Xbox is porting over exclusives to other systems Xbox is dying. So apparently whatever xbox does its dying gotta

Okay look. I love my Xbox consoles. How ever. Consoles will become somting in the past. I know how extremely well cloud gaming technology is. You can have a high end pc graphics on all your screens in your life. So streaming games is the future. Phone and Pc as well. Console not so much

Well I've preferred the Xbox exclusives in the past and now so if they are released on PS5 I may as well just buy their kit in the future particularly if I can stream Gamepass and use the Xbox controller (which I far prefer) on the next Playstation. Alternatively just skip consoles all together from now on and go fully PC.

A PC hybrid just doesn’t make any fucking sense, simply because PCs already exist. I can go to Ibuypower or cyber power get a pre built and if I so choose swap out the GPU for a better one no problem. What makes a console a console is all those parts are pre determined. Seems like what they are trying to market is a pre built, which again already exist. If it would be modular, it would have to be parts that are already on the market. They won’t go and make a whole new sector of parts just for the Xbox pc console hybrid. So again pre builts already exist. Seems far fetched to me. I could see a case for pre builts made by other manufacturers like Lenovo or Asus that run a custom Windows software that’s a mix between Xbox OS and windows since Xbox OS is already a custom tuned down version of Windows, but those wouldn’t really be consoles they would be pre built PCs.

Windows based handheld PCs have found their sweet spot. That’s $800. Sure you can say it’s likely because the vast majority of that market are PC gamers who are used to premium prices so $800 on a device isn’t a far stretch for someone who just bought a GPU for $1600. The fact is there is a market for high end high prices. The legion GO aside from Windows being a fucking pita on it is fantastic. Those who have decided to swap Windows for Bassite, have found it performs even better than windows because SteamOS is superior for a gaming focused device. I dunno if I’ll go for it because I much prefer SteamOS. I want a future where Windows is irrelevant. That being said it’s definitely a strong case for Microsoft to get full steam (lol) ahead on making a mobile version of windows that performs exactly like SteamOS does on the steam deck. Lately I’m finding myself more enthralled by the handheld PC market than anything else. Something that’s slightly more powerful than a Series S but is still basically a PC ie the steam deck the ROG Ally the Legion GO than I’m certainly excited. Although definitely more looking forward to the Steam Deck 2 over anything else. Not much of a multiplayer gamer anyways.

You're clutching at straws. There was never any doubt that xbox games would sell on Playstation. Did you also know xbox they play better on ps5? Xbox will port all their games on ps5 eventually. Call of duty is coming to ps5 day one. Doom also, will be multi platform.
