When I was little, I saved money, and by the time I was 11, I had enough to buy an Xbox 360 in January 2014. I ended up buying the Xbox and GTA V with that money. When I inserted the disc into the console and the game started installing, I was shaking with joy. Now, as I write this, a tear comes to my eye… The music that played when I spent a long time looking at the map… Oh, what moments those were. I used to come home from school and forget about homework, playing this game: first exploring the single-player mode and then the online mode. Back then, online was still decent. Such a simple thing, but it brought so much joy. There's strength in simplicity, guys. Hang in there, and good luck in life!

Whoever bought the concept of adding music to the menu is underrated.

I will thank not only GTA 5 for the grand memories but also my PS4. It will never be the same. I love the early 2000s I wish I could re-live it all over again.

Primero jugaba GTA San Andreas de dos jugadores con mi hermano en un local de maquinitas que tenía una de xbox clásico,pocos años después con mi mejor amiga que tenía una PlaysPlaystation 2 me pase el GTA 3,un año después otro amigo tenía la xbox Clasica y cada sábado me quedaba a dormir en su casa para que me prestara su xbox y ahí me pase GTA vive city y uno de psp que parecía al san Andreas mucho,ese lo tenía pues obvio en un PSP jaja,un año después un amigo me invitaba a su casa y tenía un xbox 360 y fue la primera vez que conocí el GTA 5,ese juego era el de moda pero yo ni siquiera tenía un consola y lo pase por primera vez en unas máquinas de xbox 360 que tenía una señora jeje,siempre decía que lograría obtener todo eso que tanto desee y mis palabras fueron hechos,hace 4 años me compré una Xbox Clasica con juegos y todo y me pase GTA San Andreas,y un poco después por fin la PSP pero tenía que pagar mis estudios y la vendí y mi mejor amiga me regaló una Gameboy Advance pero la modifique y se la regrese con un diseño que le hice y se volví a regresar como regalo por su amistad jeje,luego cambie un celular Samsung s7 que tenía por un xbox 360 el cual se metieron a mi casa y se lo robaron y solo dejaron los controles,los vendí y puse un poco y compré otro clásico el cual se descompuso al poco tiempo y unos meses después trabajaba en una paquetería vi un xbox igual en 400 MXN y lo compre,después también se descompuso y los guarde en mi guardarropa y compré la PS3 al fin No entiendo por qué lo cuento pero a veces me siento bien de saber que lo logré yo solo :D mi mejor amiga no vio ese logro por qué ella falleció hace un año en un accidente de tráfico :(,siempre que jugaba GTA 5 con ella y ponía pausa me gustaba esta música de fondo y dormir abrazándola y solo enciendo mi Play por las noches para dejar vivo ese recuerdo

We bid a hard farewell to the Liberty City back in 2013 and welcomed Los Santos. There was so much more to this game and now in 2024 as we get ready to part our ways from Los Santos & embrace the Vice City this music hits another level.

GTA5 is one of the best games I’ve ever played, the nostalgia, the fun, the gameplay, music, videos, popularity, and everything. it changed gaming history and everyone’s life, remember those parodies and videos before 2020, those hit and still do. No game will ever top the nostalgia and greatness that this game gave us and still has, GTA6 will be epic but still won’t hit like GTA5 since it has a special place in everyone’s heart with parodies and CZcamsrs either passing or retiring before GTA6 but millions of videos about GTA5.

I had this friend... His name was Fernando, i knew him from pre school, we were close friends back then, but nothing too much. Years passed and i lost contact with him, until 2013, when i was 11 years old in 6th grade, me and him ended up dropping in the same school again and at the same class, i don't remember much from it and how... but we ended up recreating our bond, and it was like never before, we had a common interest: Skateboarding, our classes were in the afternoon, so in the morning we would skateboard, then split to our houses to lunch, then we would meetup again with our skateboards to go to school together, then after school, we, together, would go to eachothers streets to skateboard, but he was a kind of spoiled kid, so he had an xbox 360, we didn''t (by we i mean that in this group [of 3] i also had another friend who also skateboarded and made a huge impact on my life at the time... his name was Felipe) have videogame consoles, at most we had computers, but not super strong ones... So we would also spent most of our time at his house playing videogames, i can't forget how many afternoons i was at his house playing videogames and chatting and having what i would get to know nowadays as the BEST TIME OF MY LIFE... And it indeed was... the best time of my life... At the time i wasn't super into videogames (i loved them, but just wasn't super geeky, i always loved playing san andreas tho) so i didn't even know there was such a thing as GTA V, i knew GTA IV and wasn't into the news of videogames, this friend presented GTA V to me, and it became to be the game we would play the most, all afternoon until we were tired of it, but would get on it again later lol. After 2013 we unfortunally got split from classes, as he went to school by the morning now, and i would go in the afternoon, and we didn't get to skateboard as much as before, and this other friend, Felipe, kinda vanished from the story (I regained contact with him recently, and he works close to my job, i'll try and tie our friendship once again). Years passed and our friendship was awesome, i would go to his house EVERYDAY to play GTAV on xbox360 (the years were 2013,14,15,16) he didn't have the online tho, we would only play offline games, so we played gta V singleplayer all the time, and i have so many memories of him, his aunt would sometimes take us to some places in our city to have fun, like open grass fields, or the local University, which had a small Skatepark... ...It wouldn't be a great story without a sad ending would it?... 2017 came in, but a little before that i kinda that lost contact with him for a couple of weeks, or maybe months, i don't recall. in 2017 i started Highschool... which meant one thing: i would start to study in the morning, so i would be able to see my friend again, and what was before an awesome friendship, would become even better. One thing i forgot to mention is that 2013 wasn't just great because of the Skateboard and my two friends... it was great because i did so much stuff i would never have done, so many good memories, i kissed for the first time, i would spend literally all day outside my house having fun on the streets of my neighborhood, i interacted so much with so many people about so many stuff... Ahhhhh i can even remember how the sun and the sunrays and the sunlight casted on the walls of my school while leaving with my friends and our skateboards looked so beautiful (I'm so silly for even liking these things lol), like a cutscene... it was indeed a canonic moment of my life. As i was saying, in 2017 i started Highschool in the morning, and would be able to see my friend more, but when i finally met him again, he told me something that would change my life and his forever... He had cancer... Years go by, i kept visiting him, his cancer didn't change much in our friendship, until 2019... I was living my normal life, i remember i was having IT classes in a course my parents were paying for me, at that time for some reason i hadn't been paying him many visits, from what i can remember he had 'won' his cancer so everything was normal almost like before, actually it had been months since the last time i went to go play xbox with him, which btw he had bought a Xbox one, so the news caught me really off guard... The week he died i remember thinking of going to pay him a visit, but i thought to myself "well maybe another time"... There was no another time, it was too late... I have so many memories of you my dear friend, i'll never forget you, Fernando.

Слёзы на глазах.. осознавая что прошло 10 лет, а ты эту игру воспринимаешь как своего родного человека с которым хочется проводить всё больше времени.. У каждого есть свой конец, к которому мы приблизимся в скором времени, отключение серверов gta online на пк и на консолях.. его место займёт новая часть, новая эпоха, новая история.. Лишь воспоминания останутся с нами на всю жизнь с этой игрой и таких ярких ламповых под солнечным светом дня в комнату не будут нас радовать так, как радовали нас в детстве, будучи подростком вернувшись после учебы..
