Everyday projects in and around the house. Home projects, vehicle maintenance, kids toys, 4 wheelers, dirt bikes, landscaping... basically things that any "Average Joe" can do. Hopefully these videos will give people some additional information for projects of their own or possibly learn from mistakes that I have made.
Wobbly- Unstable Grill Base - Broilmaster
Figuring out the reason that my grill is wobbly / loose / unstable. It ended up being a “lower bracket assembly” that needed to be replaced. I actually made a new one but also show which replacement part is needed (I definitely recommend just buying the replacement part).

Dewalt Hedge Trimmer Stopped Working
zhlédnutí 967Před měsícem
Fixing Dewalt hedge trimmer after they stopped running. Was in the middle of using them and all of a sudden stopped. It ended up being a wire which came loose inside of the case. I do recommend working on any of the wiring for these tools, however in my case it was out of warranty and would have just ended up in the trash if I had not pulled it apart to take a look.
Boot Repair - Replacing Sole

Replacing the sole on my boot. This is an amateur job at best. Currently seem to be holding up pretty good. This was quite a bit of work and would not try this on an expensive pair of boot for fear of ruing them. However this was pretty fun to do.

Did you remove any fluid or just let leak from the seal vefore putting on
Thx. Helped a lot.
Thanks for this video. I believe I have the same issue
Ok video but to much talk.
I just fixed this myself. Ground wire came off of motor. Unbent terminals and soldered connectors back on. Greased assembly with a high quality grease. Works awesome now. Definitely spins faster than it has been in years.
Where did you get the wiring diagram I could sure use one?
Just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I have the same model, it died, I found this video, gathered the tools to take mine apart and I found the ground wire spade connector had became disconnected from the motor. It works now! Also: I didn't have a torx bit, a flat head was able to do the job. Hope this video helps others, thanks again!
AWESOME video thank you! How long did they last?
Just saved me 800 bucks on a new machine
Hey I just picked up at scrambler 50 and about to put some love back into it but I noticed I'm missing a piece it's the black half oval item with two bolts when your pointing to the carb just above it to the left do you know what that is
If I am looking at the correct part, it is the ignition coil. It has spark plug boot wire coming out of the bottom side.
Nicely done Harry. I never gravity tested my fluid like that or made calculations...but if you got the time we sure appreciate that level of dillegence!🎉😊
I got a question as a greenhorn....if you dont dilute the fluid what will actually happen?
Dude, you are spot on. I cleaned the relay plug and the key switch plug and the solenoid started working. If you were close I'ld buy you and your lady dinner. Thank you.
Nice! Glad it worked on yours also. Thanks for the offer but I make these so that people can save some $$ or get a little more use before having to buy new tools/equipment . I did end up buying a new switch with a key for mine because the inner contacts were getting worn. Hopefully yours will last a while longer.
Hey, Thanks for this, mine stopped working the other day. After watching your video I decided to take a look inside, I found the same issue, fixed it and it runs great! Thank you sir, saved me a bit of cash for a while longer!
Good deal, glad that it worked for you. I am all for saving some money when I can!
I’m having the exact same problem
Did you figure out the problem. Was it an electrical issue or did you have a faulty solenoid?
Perfect instruction. It took me two minutes to replace the head on the 324L Thank you.
Nice! It is pretty simple if you know that the hole is there to stop the head from spinning.
I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado 4.3 v6 and wanted to change my coolant there is still coolant inside the tank but I unscrew the cap off the tank put a drain pan under and unscrewed the screw from the radiator and no coolant drained but I looked back at the coolant tank and some coolant was gone what could this be?
I fucking love you dude. Saved me alot of time and money. This worked like it was designed that way
Is there a filter on that model washer? I keep getting a f9e1 error.
Great video bud. I'm an almost 40 year old good ol' TN man and have changed a ton of radiators on different vehicles but never one on the 06 sierra i own now so its good to have a straight to the point video that i can view to get a quick idea of what all to remove to make it as easy as possible. Thanks for the awesome vid with no bs or fillers. Straight to the point like a g. Respect from Nashville.
Thank you so very much for taking the time to create and post this video! It was such a massive help in diagnosing the SAME EXACT issue in our washing machine (WTW5105HW). We've only had this product 16 months and of course it's now just a few months outside of it's warranty, similar to a bunch of other comments I see here. Highly frustrating and so disappointing of Whirlpool to have such unreliable components. But thanks to you we've got a working machine again (...for now at least!)
No problem, glad it helped. When I found the issue I did not know if it was a one-off problem or systemic. Judging by the comments it is a bigger problem. I am slightly disappointed considering these are not cheap to purchase. Luckily a fairly easy fix if you know what to look for though.
What is the name of that hose the second hose on the antifreeze reservoir?
Had the same thing happen to mine. I had stupidly purchased an extended warranty from Lowe's. Wish I hadn't. They first thought it was the pump and then they replaced the control board. Ultimately, they declared it fixed when it wasn't after 4 visits from 2 different repair people and a couple of months without a working washer. This video may help me repair it myself so thanks!
Hands down goes right to the top of saved me the most time watching a you tube video!!!!!! I went right for the blue wire and it was the culprit. This HAS to be on their radar by now. I actually have 2 of these now and not thrilled about this little issue hitting everyone! THey need to send us some CA$H back 🙂
Your lip smacking needs to stop
I have to thank you so very much for posting this video. The exact same break in the wire to the drain pump occurred because of this extremely poor job of engineering. Why in the name of all that is holy would a teeny wire like dental floss be attached so tightly with no give to a machine that agitated and spins?!? I am surprised it lasted a year and 4 months!! My husband was able to bypass all your troubleshooting thanks to this post!! We are so thankful.
Cool tip to keep the heater knob turned to red max heat. Tip 2: switch off dec ool to avoid dexcool sludge problemthat fails rafiators and heater cores. Tip 3...Flush twice to get rid of old dex ool. 18 qt capacity so use 2.5 gallons concentratr gold coolant. Put all the 2.5 gal concentrate first. Then deionized (best) or distilled (ok) water remaining ~2 gallons. It will be less because of the Quart or 2 water that did not frain out if the heater core and block. This will give u 60% concentration giving the -40 degree F protection easily. No charts or math needed. Best concentrate coolant is the $12 prestone or $10 super tech at wallyworld 150,000 mile gold color coolant.
Exactly what my truck is doing...thank you sir...i replaced my water pump before I realized it was a leak in my radiator
Exact same issue, this is the third time. I cut and spliced the first time. I cut, spliced, and heat shrunk the second time. We're now on the THIRD repair. It keeps breaking the wire itself.
My Sierra is leaking coolant from the back of the motor I’m hoping it’s just running down the oil pan from the front and not leaking from the head. When you get a coolant leak always think the worst first. I sure hope mine is not the head gasket. Man that’s expensive
thanks
Thank you so much! Our machine is just under 2 years old and had the same problem, found the broken blue wire in virtually the same spot. We were able to fix it thanks to your video. It's a shame to pay $800 for such poor quality parts.
Mine is only 6 months old and had the exact same issue....going to call the warranty line tomorrow and see if there is a recall or an updated part.
Is it possible to back the 4 bolts holding assembly out a bit then hammering the bolts to push the assembly out?
The exact same wire broke on mine. The exact same model. Exact same spot.
I guess with the government trying to save water and these companies trying to wash with less water these technologies don’t work or the components don’t hold up so I guess the landfills are getting fuller as we speak. What a joke, shitty engineering shitty policy.
Use this washer they overuse that pump system and it causes big failures. It is used throughout the system more than any pump I have ever seen in my life with washers not just after the rinse drain or the wash drain. They use it throughout the whole wash cycle. It’s no wonder they have pump issues. Stupid engineers.
Lucky that didn’t take out of control board. It does that crap too and that’s not cheap. They should fuse that pump cheap ass engineering.
Cheap harnesses mass made somewhere likely overseas I have had several of these as I work on these professionally …cheap ass washer don’t measure up to what consumer reports says // moral to the story bad engineering
I know Speed Queen is the best but I need something that has a larger 4.0 CU/ft or above washer for some of my blankets. Do you have a preference as to a decent Whirlpool/Maytag washer? I'd also like it to use a lot of water if possible. I don't care for conserving water at the expense of not cleaning my clothes properly. I have an old 2006 Whirlpool that started making noise after I replaced the seals on the support and basket drive. A person on one of the forums suggested it was the transmission but I don't want to gamble 200 for that and it not being the issue.
i have searched for the wiring diagram and had no luck. Can you post a pic of wiring diagram in comments plz?
Ball bearings are gone
How can’t fix error F7E4
Same issue, fixed 2x under warranty, 2nd time tech installed the updated harness, i am fixing it now and will be adding a little bit of edge guard around it.

Thank you ! This saved me a-lot of time troubleshooting!
I got to say it’s rare the exact same problem is described in full. I see there’s three of us at least by two comments including your original video. This is nothing less than a design fault. Thank you soooo much! It worked like a champ!! Kudos to you
Agree. Highly unlikely that this a coincidence and more people may have this same problem. Thanks for the comment, hope this video can help others with the same problem too.
It's nothing unusual, after years and miles the radiator usually developes a leak and has for 100+ yrs. and it's NOT fixible now. Mine on a '98 Jimmy with 160,000 miles had a crack in the upper plastic tank. Just put a new radiator in and keep moving, Nothing last forever.
Isn't the Y pipe installed backwards????
Nope. I am standing on the other side of the hole. Check around 4:35, you will see it is pointing toward the flower bed retainer, away from the house.
I put a drain cleaner and it worked. Water started gushing out 👍🏽
Great tip!
Thank you!!!!
No problem
