You can always take advantage of the different colors to let you know where you stopped at, and also how many rows or sets of rows, you have done. I find them helpful when I'm laying something down for a while. PS-thanks for the bead idea. I use one of those white, plastic cases with little divisions in it to put different colors in so they don't get mixed up. it's easier to use one pink marker for every 10 rows while every 50th row would get red. makes things easier to count--especially on afghans!

Love the way you end the row. Happy able to keep edges straight....thank and and I'm all in with stitch markers.

Really great tips! I wish I had heard them when I first started. I could have avoided so many mistakes! The first time I tried to crochet a scarf it kept getting wider and wider and i didn't know why! If I had been counting my stitches I could have avoided that. Thanks Leisha!
