The Seattle Art Museum (SAM) has been the center for visual arts in the Pacific Northwest since 1933. Visit SAM to see a museum carved into the city, as much a part of Seattle's landscape and personality as the coffee, rain, mountains, Pike Place Market, and the Space Needle.
Our three distinct locations celebrate the region's position as a crossroads where east meets west, urban meets natural, local meets global. Our collections, installations, special exhibitions, and programs feature art from around the world and build bridges between cultures and centuries.

I miss the key question, why Bohos left Zen and get Cremation of Care with an Owl, revival of Druidic adoption of human sacrifice?
…what’s the point if we can’t see what Fay is describing?
We don’t get to see the slides?
Watching this on computer is very unsatisfying, you can’t really see, plus the hand movements of the translator are very distracting. The text displays are virtually useless since they are minuscule + frustrating.

what the heck you are laughing so rudely??
Exceptional lecture. I especially found the analogy between Japanese lacquer arts and the requirement for darkness to appeciate it and the treatment of the concrete to produce a reflective sheen very interesting. I'm an architectural photographer and interior designer by trade, but I also docent at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth designed by Ando. I'll enjoy using that reference on the tour I'm giving tomorrow. Thank you!

No human remains found in the artifact pits so far. Organic matter / soil analysis shows burning, so leading theory is burning offerings at some ritual site. A few human remains found at nearby sites are all proper burials.

You are absolutely 100% completely wrong about the China Russia relationship. The way you described the Russians as hairy and drunk is a western way of thinking. From the city of Khabarovsk, you can travel into China and visa versa, there is respect from both sides.

What they left behind is not history of india... Its bullsh1t. I mean look at the people of rajasthan and the condition they are living in.. Your ancestors built palaces and screwed around with mughals....that's not history of india....that's the history of rajputs.
