Doing this for MMA thanks for the upload I've learned some new things.
anyone who did this once ore more and can comment on eccects or afterwards feeling?
Headphones on I thought there was an ice cream truck behind me listening to this Who the heck chose the audio sound effects lol
I’m a hockey player who has big dreams for where my game can go. I have been looking for a workout like this for 2 years and finally found exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much for what you do and helping me elevate my game.
Thank you so much I actually have all this stuff in my basement thank you so much for making so video I’m doing the 356 day workout challenge
Thanks for posting this. I have been trying to find a way to get back into being a goalie. After years of gout attacks taking me out of playing before they figure out what it was, and then 10 years of not playing, I've gotten fat and inflexible. Some of those routines look like they should be pretty helpful to help me regain some of that flexibility that I've lost over the years and start getting back on the ice.... even if I can't successfully do them all in the beginning.
How many reps and sets?
Whatever challenges you
Great video and thank you
Great video
This is really helpful. 🤙

Great addition to my daily routine!! I am a goalie who always struggled to achieve great mobility, so I will give these a try for the next few months and see how it works out!!
@leomayer8920 how'd it go
How many rounds should you shoot for with the conditioning block?
Balance is so important. I used to think hockey was all about "hands" but it really is all about core and legs and balance. Thanks for the vid eh!
Thank you at 36 I am getting back into playing hockey weekly as a goaltender and surprise, looking for where my mobility went😂
I'm 30 and didn't skate for 6 months and it's hitting harder then ever hahahahahha
This is great!
Amazing🎉
For the 4 way lunge…does one rep equal all for lunges? Or is it one rep per lunge?
Where do you sell a slider for sliding on your knee?
we don't sell them - but you can find them on Amazon pretty affordably - just looking up "exercise sliders".
NHL hockey goalies are so flexible. Some look like gymnasts out there.
the more impressive part is that they can really control these ranges of motion.
what type of sliders do you use?
Would this replace a strength workout?
As a defender who is 210lbs 6’5” in U18 div 1 Sweden with the empasis on a technical & skilful game started going these and about 2 weeks doing this 4 times a week with other exercises on roller blades it really helped me catch up for the two or three times I misread the offensive play and fell behind the attacker, caught up to them. It helps

This information is gold
Appreciate it man!
Thank you! Any concern with a 8-9 year old using these stretches?
Not at all! All super valuable.
Such a solid video Ty
These are awesome! Thank you!
I want to incorporate this on my lower body workout. Do I this before doing lifting/resistance training (deadlifts, machine exercises, etc.)? Or do I do it after?
Sorry for the late reply! We prefer this work AFTER our primary heavy lifts.
💪🏾🍻love this
Thanks!
Great video, good for younger and us older guys!
Appreciate it Lenny! Definitely important for the older fellas!
how many times do i do each exercise
2-3 times each way is probably a good place to start.
Great exercises, but please show more of the lower body, so we can see the foot and weight placements.
Love the vids! Keep them coming. I would like to politely suggest a few things: a) speak a little slower (ie. what was the first line of the vid?); b) Make sure each exercise has demonstration + explanation (seems like it is only explanation atm, would love to see a full-on or continuous example of the exercise after or before the explanation, helps me visualize what to do) ; c) add some text at each exercise (name and maybe exercise #), helps me remember which one I want to do, if I want to mix it up or go back to it. Just some feedback. But all in all great informative and challenging vids.
Thanks man.
Love it coach!
3 questions How many sets do we do? How long do we rest between each set? What’s the preferred weight what does that depend on?
hi! 4 set for a normal workout 1min10-1min30 for a rest go with how you feel, target a weight that you are able to do all your reps no less or more, the weight depend of your personal weight :))
How many sets should we do?
probably 2-3 per exercise.
Was looking for something like this. Been playing a lot of hockey in past 5 years...and working on acceleration recently. I started getting sore groin/ adductor muscles...and that eventually led to a minor pull during a game...that happened by simply jumping to accelerate down the ice. That has kept me out of hockey for almost a month now. I realize I need to incorporate both more stretching....but, probably more importantly, to work on strengthening those muscles, as they got sore in the first place when I started to put more load on them pretty regularly. This stuff should really help.
Absolutely Joe! It's definitely a combination - in fact, we see more pulls/tweaks as a result from WEAKNESS than tightness. It's completely natural, as hockey player's we build so much lower body muscle that the adductors don't keep up. Almost all the tweaks we hear are exactly as described, explosive first steps. Hope this helps - if you keep at these exercises for a month you'll see it pay off!
Pulled what my PT diagnosed as the pectineus. Did PT for 2 months. Got maybe 60% better. Never went away and never went back to playing 100%. A year later now it got worse one day when playing very fatigued. Now looking for real hockey-style adductor rehab. Maybe I need to stop playing for a good two months.
@@vincentcaudo-engelmann9057 How often are you playing Vince? Honestly - this is advice most guys hate to hear, but groin injuries are usually one's that you need a break from skating on. Maybe consider 6 weeks off the ice, while doing rehab exercise day, and then slowly introducing skating again. (Of course: not a medical professional, and you should consult your PT).
content is great, music is painful.
appreciate it - we passed on this to our editor!
During the offseason - how many days a week should power and strength exercises like this be done? 4+? I try and stretch every day.
We like a minimum of 3x week, and then add in mobility/conditioning on top of that. If you're lifting heavy and getting explosive need time for nervous system recovery and with most goalies skating to, we find 3x is the sweet spot.
Awesome! Thank you!
Thanks Ninjai!
Great stuff. Im going to be doing this with my 12 year old son once a week and include it in his regular workout schedule
Fantastic! Love to hear this. Can't beat a good stairs workout.
So many gems here.
Thanks fam.
I played Junior with Kyle and I must say he was one of the kindest and most down to earth people I have ever met. I am glad I found these videos whilst trying to get back in shape for post-competitive hockey.
Does this work for field????
Yes. Very similar.
It’s for my 12 year old son , he needs more ankle mobility ..How many times a week would you recommend , and can it be done anytime of the day ?
Hey Costa! I'd definitely say multiple times per week, try to anchor it another habit - so pre-workout/skate/shooting pucks or after school or watching netflix/youtube for the first 10 minutes. Aim for 3x per week!
@@RelentlessHockey thank you very much , will do , by the way great content so beneficial , to bad your not in Montreal
