Something is so sus about this company idk man, I bought a paddle series one 15mm in person at ppa atlanta and i got home and weighed it at 8.9oz which is just unplayable especially since it had no lead on it. I emailed them about the issue and was told that I would receive another response soon and nothing. How do they have paddles available to sell in person but not online? Then they partner up with pbcentral and say they sold out instantly which is just so sus. How can you sellout instantly when they don't even have them on their own website, also I have never seen one proton used in person so who's buying them???

For series one… Aside from the nanotac what is special about these? Nothing it seems. Just heavy gen 1.5-2 paddles. Plus with the APP deal will these even be legal soon? Feels like a Joola 2.0 scenario. Overpromise and under deliver. That’s what they’ve done to the retail PB community.

I believe most customers waiting for series one did not get another series to play with first.

After waiting months, I canceled my order. I then got in early this go around and expected them to be on hand to ship. Emailed and was told 7-10 days to assemble 🙄

I guess I'm confused when he says they gave free paddles to people who decided to wait for the paddles they ordered. If the whole reason for the delay was lack of stock, and the time it took to restock, why would you give paddles away for free? No wonder they sold out quickly when they released on pickleballcentral and on the Proton website, half of their stock was given away for free (if that's true).

@building pickleball did you try the project roadrunner because they didn’t have that one for sale on the launch which is why I didn’t buy one what Paddle recommendation would you choose based on using some of them?

Sellouts always will tell you a story. reality is that a paddle makes very little difference its the ingin behind the arrow

its unreal that you can take up pickeball and two years later you are the best. Its unreal that in any other sport it take about 7 t o 12 years to make a pro. What does that say.

I just demoed pro control today. I was able to return the other demo pro power’s serve with it. Ordered one!!

So true I was there in April for a conference. And I played at some public courts that were awful. Three of them were being used for cement soccer. 30 people were waiting to play on three courts that were bad. These were the closest public courts to downtown that were most popular. I'm so spoiled living in S. Florida we have quality courts all over the place. City of Austin you need to do better!
