I headed out for some last minute pond fishing and I catch a really nice largemouth bass in a pond that is full of grass. Then I headed to another pond down the road for some Bluegill fishing.

I plan on putting the same Anchor wizard and Yakattack trolley system combo on my 110. Have you had any problems with this combo where the tension of the anchor line pulls the anchor trolley back to the middle?
Thanks for watching. This combo has worked great. I drop the anchor where the rope goes thru the eyelet then move the trolley rope where I need it to position the kayak. When I'm ready to crank up the anchor, I move the trolley rope back to the eyelet then crank up the anchor.

In Illinois ALL watercraft need to be registered, including non-motorized watercraft. Basically, Illinois collects fees for anything and everything. I have a Wenonah 18.5' canoe with at Minn Kota 30lb thrust trolling motor powered by a 50ah Lithium LifePo battery that is setup basically the same as what you have done. I used a 2" x 2" x 1/4" to mount my motor right behind the stern seat. The aluminum angle is clamped to the gunnels of the canoe with aluminum brackets that I made. I have large plastic knobs on the clamps so that I can remove the mount & motor quickly and easily. Though it is side-mounted, the motor prop is only a couple of inches forward of the very back of the boat.

I love your videos on the Pelican Catch 110s. A question of your anchor system. Did you not install a safety float on your anchor line in case you snag?
Thanks for watching. I didn't add a float, I thought about adding one, but I ended up using a chain that I made up for the anchor. It works great and is just about impossible to get snagged. I do keep some wire cutters out to cut the rope just in case It gets snagged.
I've caught more bass on rooster tails than anything
Yes, the rooster tails always catch fish.
Do you have to worry a out stability when standing up? I dont want to have to pay attention to much on balancing over actually fishing.
In calm water, it's pretty stable when standing up. You definitely have to keep your balance, though. I do fish sitting down most of the time.
@@kentuckybackwaters7717 okay cool! I flipped a shitty sit in kayak and lost a combo so i have slight PTSD lmao most likely itd be just to stretch the legs here and there. Never fished in a kayak geared towards fishing so maybe ill be fine sitting down most of the time.

The trolling motor attachment is a nice feature. I would like to do a remote-controlled one.
What cart do you use to pull your kayak ?
It's the Ozark Trail cart. I purchased it from Walmart. They have them in stock at their stores.

Shakespeare is good stuff. It's not high dollar but if you can't catch them on a Shakespeare you can spend all the money you want, you're probably not gonna catch any with the high dollar gear, either.

It's an older Bass Pro Shop graphite series 5ft 6inch lite action, with a Shakespeare micro series reel. It's been a good one.

Yes, they do! It's amazing how many fish they catch. I have some larger rooster tails that I'm going to use for larger fish.

I reed a 360 seat and to sit up higher. This boat is perfect but for my needs I’m going with the 10ft Bass Raider 👍🏻
Good choice, the Bass Raider is a great boat. You might need to get more comfortable seats, I heard they can be a little hard to sit on after a few hours.

All pelicans are shit! Mass produced, cheap hulls. Even on the fishing kayak! Pay the 100 to 200 more for a vibe and probably get a rudder too. I know someone with that exact pelican and it tracks like shit on a mild windy day! If you enjoy fishing, TRUST ME spend the extra money for a better yak! If that's all you can afford, and it gets you on the water then awesome, go for it, no judgement, but I own a few kayaks, budget all the way up to pedal drives and I know what I'm talking about! Pelicans are shit
