We found these young male Lions late one afternoon near Crocodile Bridge Camp in the Southern section of Kruger National Park.
They were still inexperienced but brave, or hungry enough to attempt such a formidable target.
In a scenario like this, teamwork is essential, as many a Lion has met their demise with just one wrong move.
My apologies for the video quality(it gets better), it was already late afternoon with bad light.
Only after the 4th Lion joined, could they subdue the Buffalo, but the Buffalo was not done yet.
With much effort and some kind of whiplash move, they were able to get the Buffalo on its side.
Now a new challenge started how to silence the buffalo?
As time passed from day to early evening, they were still struggling, each of the young Lions holding on to a different part of their prey.
Eventually one of the Lions grabbed him by the snout to try and suffocate him.
We had to leave to be back in time at the camp but the night-drive caught the last action.
The young Lions seemed to have done their job and the rest of the pride came in to feed after the Males had their full.

      @iramuzair2664 - Unfortunately, we are not allowed to. And the time spent at the sighting was not a chore. Although stressful, it was my pleasure to stay and observe the sighting, all the while hoping they were going to be okay.

      @vwannop11 - She did not the first time(we got them tucked away next to the road at the top), but yes, after the meet and greet, she just left them there in the open. This is what made this sighting so bizarre. Thanks for watching :)
