Good show man. You taught me how to wear an ascot. I have a green and yellow silk with paisley design ascot I purchased from ebay. I want another now. I own 11 silk and polyester scarfs so the ascot was my next interest for my wardrobe. I need to know how to tie a tie lol. I don't know how to tie a standard silk tie.

Ascots are so hot, i hate ties but these are great. They feel great to wear, nice and cozy on the neck. I wear buffs too, especially in the summer. By the way sir, you have a fantastic screen presence, why not come back on camera; we'd love to visit you in the sewing room!

An Ascot and a cravat are two entirely different things. Cravats (as shown) are worn, informally, inside the shirt collar. An Ascot is very formal daywear, worn under the collar, often held in place with a pearl topped tie pin. These were very popular in Victorian & Edwardian times. Now, don't get me started on ruched ties, which also (mistakenly) get called 'cravats'.
