Can I put the plastics from a from a wrf on wrx?
No the WRR/WRX use different plastics, so you pretty much need to get OEM Yamaha plastics for that bike.
O-H
So light speed still makes the frame guards but it says it doesn't fit the sm model
We no longer sell them because our distributor stopped carrying them. The ones we sold fit the SM model just fine, and we have them on both of our SM project bikes, as shown in the photos and video. Maybe Lightspeed has changed them? I doubt it, not sure why they would. I'd call them up and ask why it says no SM model fitment.
Thanks for the info
Nice bike wow I have a left over 2023 300 Rally. Love it
Wow, I'm so impressed of your work. I have my 2016 crf 250l with 111444 km on the clock and i think to rebuild that bike to looks exactly like yours. Thank you for ideas 👍🙂
Wasn’t the wr250x manufactured till 2016?
In the US, the WR250X was sold from 2008 to 2011. The WR250R was sold 2008-2020. In Japan, they might have offered the X for a longer period than the 4 model years it was available here.
@@user-we5yo2yo1fyeah that sounds abt right. Great video btw. I do have to ask do u have a video explaining the difference between a mega bomb and a power bomb? Also u were talking abt the decel pops, did the pops start with the new tune and power commander or was it the exhaust? (I love the decel pops)
@@Melan.D MegaBomb is just slightly larger power bulge than the PowerBomb. On these bikes, don't really notice any performance difference between them. Don't really get deceleration pops, it's more annoying backfires, which typically come with the louder exhaust. The smog block off will get rid of that.
What a great build!! Is there a part number for the polisport swing arm protector? I'm not seeing them on your website.
Details here: www.srmoto.com/2021/10/polisport-swingarm-protectors-for-the-honda-crf450rl-crf450l.html
@@user-we5yo2yo1f thank you. I was going to buy from you.
@@user-we5yo2yo1f that would be the same for the frame gaurds from acerbis too I assume.
@@coderedcamaro4812 We cannot get those particular swingarm protectors, that's why we don't list them in our on-line store.
@@coderedcamaro4812 Acerbis doesn't make a frame guard set for the CRF450L/RL or even the X. I have seen some people buying them for maybe the RX model, then modifying them to fit. I have not tried it though.
Is it easy to clean? Will the grippy material have white marks from trapped dust etc?
To me, the low slip top seats are a bit easier to keep clean than the gripper top seats. For some reason that gripper material just seems to want hold a bit more dirt and harder to get it looking new again.
Could you inform me on the location that I should install the fixed rate turn signal relay?
I'm also curious as to where I need to install the running light adapters for my zeta handguard flashers. Thanks!
@@ReconNoob12 Location of the FRF is on the 1st page of the instructions that come with it. The running light adapters are wired in between the bikes front turn signal harness and the new LED wires. Typically up under the bikes headlight shroud where the stock turn signals are plugged in.
Beautiful bike. Ill be moving to USA in feb next year and Im def getting a CRF 300. Unless I can get an already used sumo conversion, I might settle for the dual sport for some time until im comfortable to start converting it slowly.
Awesome 👏👏👏🥰👍
What kind of warranty comes with this? It’s pricey so warranty is kind of important. Thanks
Typically 3 years. Also these are not chinese made kits, these are Made in USA, and 12oClockLabs stands behind them. We sell alot of their tail kits for this bike, as well as several other bikes, and rarely ever have any issues with them. Seem pretty bulletproof.
@@user-we5yo2yo1f I went a different route for now. Placed order last night for just the eliminator kit and plate light from you. Thanks for the reply.
IMO i'd rather bend the shift lever and the brake lever, but the footpegs are a good upgrade
Not sure what you mean. The aftermarket shift lever and brake pedal will still bend, it's not like they are fully rigid. Forged aluminum is just way more durable than the steel OEM parts. Plus the forged shift lever has a folding tip.
Hello, I got the brake pedal from you last year and only now got around to trying to install it. The manufacturer provides zero instructions - neither with the item nor on their web site. Where does the brake snake attaches to on the frame? As a matter of fact a short installation video for that brake pedal would be very useful for a person who has never done it.
Products like brake pedals, shift levers, etc never seem to come with very much in the way of instructions. You basically remove the stock part and reverse the process to re-install it. As for the brake snake, we usually just wrap it around the frame right next to where it attaches to the brake pedal arm. Also, once you install the brake pedal, make sure your bright light lights up when you want it to, and adjust the switch if necessary. On that bike, I think there is a small dial just above the brake pedal that adjusts brake light activation.
Yes, I had to adjust the brake light switch. As far as their brake snake - this one comes with a small metal plate attachment ending - so it clearly was meant by them to attach to a specific point - except that they fail to mention which one. I ended up attaching it to a bolt holding a small black plastic cover in place nearby.
If i remember well ..i tried to install this front fender but its not fitting...how installed it?
Buy a super moto. Who wants a slow heavy super moto?
The 250L and 300L are very popular for supermoto conversions. Not everybody needs to 40+ horsepower to have fun.
When replacing the silencer, it is necessary to reconfigure the carburetor?
Yes, you would need to re-jet the carb... soloracer.com/drzjetkit.html

I got the IMS Rally pegs and they perfect. I don't know why every peg isn't made this big. They are so much more functional and comfortable than smaller pegs.
i love the tail light but not the integrated turn signal

Look at that blue on the header, surely that's titanium!?!?
No, it's stainless steel. Some of the FMF headers do that.
aluminum skid plate on my WR 250 R and from 55 on with 1438 gearing it sounded like it was going to explode Then one day I decided to take the dang thing off and went for a ride and it was whisper quiet so I went and bought the moose racing plastic skid plate, and I got to tell you I think it quieted the bike down more skid plate would definitely give this one a look as it seems to work very well I will never use an aluminum skid plate Again!!!!
This are great they safe my bike cero demage after a low site fall I highly recommend then and the also safe my right hand for more damage
Does yours wabble back and forth (left to right) installed?
No, ours fits tight just like the stock seat.
Just ordered mine 😎
I wanted the upgraded circuit board for the brighter light but after seeing the pulsing brake I charged my mind.
The pulsing brake light is a safety feature, and is on by default. It can be disabled though if you don't want it on.
@@user-we5yo2yo1fthank you, I just looked it up and seen that it can be disabled.
Steering dampener on a dual sport is pretty goofy
Really LOL. We sell alot of them for the WR250R and CRF450RL, both dual sports. Some guys ride these bikes in terrain where a steering stabilizer can come in handy. We even have one on our CRF450RL supermoto.
What does it weigh?
We don't have scales. But I'm guessing 450-460.
Hello Brett. Will the drc foot eggs fit my 2024 Yamaha XT250?
Will the zeta or drc ultra wide foot pegs fit my 2024 xt 250?
Looks like DRC lists a different part number for the XT250, that bike requires a D48-02-535.
What about that front light protection? Really sexy
powercore 4 sounds better than q4
Sound is highly objective. The PC4 is the louder of the two by far, so if you want loud, go with the PC4. But alot of the dual sport and off-road guys prefer the Q4 since it's better to be quieter in the woods. We have the Q4 on our WR250X supermoto and took the spark arrestor out, so it's a bit louder but still not as loud as the PC4, so a nice in-between sound level, and still sounds good IMHO.
@@user-we5yo2yo1f If I could only find either of these now!
Do I need the EJK if I just add a no-toil air filter kit to a stock WR250R?
Not real sure since we never did that filter kit on it's own, but it's probably not going to run quite right since it will be taking in more air. But as mentioned, we never did that one on it's own so it's hard to say for sure.
Hey Did you try the Yamaha main center stand with it? Are modifications necessary?
We never tried the Yamaha center stand with it. AXP states that the skid plate is compatible with the SW-MOTECH and HEPCO & BECKER center stands but no mention of the Yamaha stand, so my guess is you might have to do some modifications to it.
If you downshift multiple gears at once will it register them?
Yes it will.
Good looking wr250x.
too pretty to ride.
I did my driving examination on a 1100 hyper... 😅
If you run a 110 rear tyre like the Motoz desert HT the bike will go much better, the 120 wide tyre drain the power of this bike.
Hey! Do you guy made one for the 2011 690 smc?
Check Seat Concepts website, they probably offer one for the older models.
Great video , and the quality of it. ! In fact, it was so good that you sold me on it. I just placed the order.!! 👍
