Compared to the standard 125 full power, does the 140cc kit make much of a difference? I've been tempted to buy the kit but spending almost £800 for all the bits seems excessive unless it makes a decent difference.
Just do it its a world off difference but 800 is a lot here in belgium its 300 euros mate thats 400 pounds
@@dvandam9574 I did. I went with the Italkit, full arrow system and 34mm carb. I have my full test in a few weeks and then im after an RS250

I think im sold on the Italkit 140cc, just stripped my 2008 RS125 and found a chunk of piston missing, she still ran but im glad ive had her apart.

Salut, j'ai tout comme toi une 675 daytona et en ce moment je suis à la recherche d'un 125rs pour le fun et mes routes de montagne.... et par passion du 2 temps aussi .. Ayant les même gout en thermes de bécane je me permet de te demander du coup quel équipement exactement avais tu sur ton ancienne 125 rs ? . merci d'avance pour ta réponse ^^
+keke50125 Sur ma 125rs j'avais un pot jollymoto, un carbu de mikuni 38 tm, un filtre à aire sport, bougie irridium, kit chaine en 415, allumage à rotor interne, boite à clapet style V-force, culasse VHM et plus rien sur la moto (faisceau, batterie, démarreur etc) Après sur route c'était pot giannelli, carbu mikuni 34 tm, culasse d'origine usiné (plus de compression), clapet origine et bougie irridium. Voilà si ça a pu t'aider ;)

The more displacement a piston does, the more air-fuel drinks the more power-torque does.... So 160 cm3 is better than 140 cm3.

Having a kit means you change your cylinder with a bigger bore(more cc), bigger piston and head,some change the crankshaft too, eventually it gives much more power, but I dont personally like it on the RS, i had the polini 160cc, stock I had 38hp at che crank, with the kit only 40. The jolly moto exhaust on mine gave me much more power than the kit itself.

Non c'est le kit 140, juste réalésé par rapport au 144 qui lui est vraiment retravaillé. Sur la vidéo j'avais l'embrayage qui ne suivait pas avec le kit donc passage en ressort 10% plus dure. Un 2 temps reste toujours fiable si tu le respect. (entretien et temps de chauffe) J'ai fais de la piste avec et je ne la ménageais pas la 125, bah la seul fois ou j'ai serrer c'est de ma faute, descendu en GP alors que c'était le GR qu'il fallait baisser.
