I would mentally close down when it started. I remember thinking that I would never use a weapon on a child and I never did when I had children of my own.

My younger sister told me in latter years that she hated what was done to me as her brother. She said I had made it worse because I wouldn't cry. Luka is a boy's name and the song speaks to me as an abused boy.

My sisters were not touched because they were girls. Luka is a boy's name. Suzanne's beautiful voice described how it was for me. I look back to see how the damage was done, how I became stronger but how also I have come across characters in life who sense a wounded animal and try to carry on with the abuse I suffered as a teen.

Another great live performance by Thelma Houston, although the bass line on this music track was watered down. But of course Thelma’s strong beautiful voice always comes through. Real music like this is just none existent these days. To much auto tune crap, and no real singing. I really miss the days when music was really good.
