Thanks for sharing this. I knew Morton Downey Jr. He was a true gentleman and a blessing to me. He was like the Dad I always needed. He actually convinced me that my life was worth living when I was feeling extremely depressed and he was protective of me and helped me. He would give the shirt off his back to help someone. I am here today because of him. His wife Lori Krebs Downey Jr was a sweet lady to me. Almost like my Mom. I can't say enough good things about Morton Downey Jr. He was extremely humble and helped so many people and the homeless yet never talked about it. I miss him everyday of my life.
