Lmao all these dudes can look at is tape and numbers but not know the personality behind the actual player. They are still people and mindset is critical to success in anything you do. Ron holland is the biggest dog mentally and competitively in this draft and it’s not even close, he’s also damn near a year younger than all other prospects. They want to fantasise and pretend like this is 2k but there’s a reason why they conduct interviews at the combine, as well as a players agency and representation will be the ultimate compelling factors. ♥️

To make a point that he wouldn't go over last years draft is a crazy point. Sarr would not go over last year top 10. All the analysts was on Scoot bandwagon. Holland show more athleticism then Castle and has similar shooting % but avg more points, blks and showed more explosion then Castle. Castle has a hitch at the top of his shot when shooting 3's that no one points out. Holland and Scoot has the same highlights but Holland plays better Defense, that would be able to guard 1 thru 4 and also avg more points and didn't shut down early for fear of slipping and every analysts had Scoot as a generational talent lol. Sarr didn't show anything special on flim. Sarr avg 9 points 4 rebounds.

A lot of people seem to be looking for reasons NOT to like him. The fact that he's been injured hasn't helped as scouts (and people) tend to be very "out of sight, out of mind" with their big boards. I may be WAY too optimistic about Holland, but he still looks to me as the highest upside player behind Sarr. He has the same drive and competitiveness that made Scoot a top 3 pick. I trust this dude will go to the ends of the earth to be the best he can possibly be, while possessing potentially elite natural ability and size. Both are extremely young, so these comments bashing his IQ seem so silly. How come this 18 year old doesn't react like a 22 year old? Maybe, because he's 18? But hey, what do I know, anyway? He’s not a cerebral basketball player. Honestly I wouldn’t be shocked if he struggled to make a rotation if he goes to a quality team and then fizzles out altogether. He’s got to learn the actual game and all its nuances to push up his ceiling.
