Autopilot disconnecting sound is a good thing to hear. Now imagine hearing “To low, Terrain! Pull up!”

Used in A300 A310 A320 A330 A340 A380 no a350 because they use a special one, Concorde And Crj planes

I also heard autopilot disengage sound when I was in seat 3F, A320neo has such quiet engines that you could even hear landing gear retraction sound

I flew with easyjet the day before i posted this comment, anyway, while landing the overspeed warning sounded for no reason

Actually sat down near the cockpit and i heard the "stall" alarm for 1.5 secs and i was FREAKING out...

My Stepdaughter uses it as ringtone on her iPhone 13. Cannot tell if Android has it too, but it does sound loud and great. I always tell her to be careful when travelling in the cockpit, something she does occasionally.

Wait until you hear a _Boeing_ Auto Pilot disconnect warning. 😱😱😱 Hear it here on YT if you haven't. It's the most exaggerated nonsense I've ever heard. Would be more suitable for a stall, fire or ground proximity warning.

Regularly hear it if you're sitting far enough forward. Was in row 7 on a flight last week and was very clear.

Yeah this is a simple explanation. Pilot turned off the autopilot to manually land the plane. It's standard practice.
