I crashed ICAST with a box full of VINTAGE lures! (bass pros were shocked)
This year Retro decided to crash the 2024 ICAST fishing tackle show in Orlando, Florida, and do a little "pressbassin" with a tackle box full of vintage lures. The mission was to find both lure makers and fishing personalities and surprise them with vintage lures from the past. This was a fun day tracking down bass fishing icons like Jacon Wheeler, Scott Martin, Bill Dance, Hank Parker, Roland Martin, and Jimmy Houston. We also stop by some great booths including Creme Lures, Original Fish Formula Bait Pop, Boogerman Bait Company, Charlie Brewer's Slider Lure Company, and H&H Lure Company.

Taking it old school to the new school...what a concept! You hit a homerun and really did a great job on this one. You need a Flux Capacitor on your Bass Tracker and a lithium battery that puts out 1.21 "jig-a-watts".

Everyone talking about hank parker interaction, but the creme son was much more personal and he seemed very appreciative meeting you and seeing the old packs and bringing back memories for him….
Honestly, I could have spent hours talking with Chris Kent (and will when I get to Tyler, TX). His dad Wayne Kent ran Creme for years and it was cool to see his reaction to the Creme and Knight Lures I showed him!

Back in the day we would tie our cream worms ! Run the line through with the needle! And would have 2 hooks in it ! Wrap them in foil < They caught me alot of fish < actually my PB 7lbs back in like 1990 < loved cream worms ** 😮
