After Loewe's fight, you will no longer be able to return to the Arseille. As Richard says, Kevin is a must-bring. Their conversation directly ties into Sky the 3rd. Loewe has something unique to say to literally everyone. Agate, Schera, Tita, and Kloe have the best conversations with him, imo. Though, Kloe does ruin a really sweet moment. Final Loewe Fight: This fight is so hard, the game doesn't just let you Retry; it straight up gives you the option to Continue and skip the fight. Loewe has ALL of his tricks from his previous fights- Earth Guard, Silver Thorn, Body-Split, Riot Storm, ect. He will start the fight with an S-Craft: either Demon Flames, which causes Faint, or Dead Emperor Blade, which can Freeze and caused me to get a game over VERY quickly. He also isn't alone. He has TWO of those lion archaisms. He is Carnage. Palate Cleanser: The Dragion is MUCH easier, plus your hp is restored for this fight. Note that it can cancel Arts and has a craft you can't cancel. There's a charging station before the final boss room, and I recommend using food to restore your cp. Don't forget to equip the new Gladiator Belt! The final fight has three stages and the final phase has multiple stages. If you want this to be a long one, then it's time to beat up that manipulative sack of trash. I can guarantee that Weissman will be _very_ salty once everything is over. Fight 1: Dimensional Exile can inflict a party member with a new status effect: Vanish. Vanish was a staple of the series until it was removed in Daybreak. It fully depletes ep and removes the character from the field for around 8-ish turns. If everyone is Vanished, you get a game over. True Evil Eye causes AT Delay and Confuse, Genesic Barrier guards against Arts, and his S-Craft, Another Dimension, hits the whole field and can confuse. No idea what his Combat Shells do, but keep them in mind. Fight 2: Goddess Light Inanna hits an area and inflicts a defense debuff. Power Light Enil heals one of your allies, inflicting confuse. It can also use the strongest Arts in the game, which are uncancelable. The Greed Loopers steal 30cp when they hit someone. Fight 3: That hp should be illegal. On the bright side... isn't "A Merciless Savior" a banger? First things first- the Alpha Omegas can remove tiles from the battlefield. Serpent Strike Agulis interrupts casting. Before half health, he'll constantly change his elemental affinities. Pay close attention so you'll deal the most damage. When around half health, he'll use a craft that depletes your entire party's cp. Towards the end of the fight, he'll start charging a craft that hits a small, circular area. Get your party members out of there _immediately!_ It will permanently Vanish them! After the fight, you'll notice a significant change to Joshua's status screen.

As other members of the council have pointed out, this map was a pretty good demonstration of why just pairing up all 8 of your units isn't always the best idea. As you yourself said, you kinda have to decide how to approach each map as it comes, since some will need a larger squad for you to split up and spread out with, while others can be rushed with a small group. The advice you got about the CPU teammates being trash is only half true- they are objectively going to be worse than you at killing important enemies, but they are very good at defensive tasks, like guarding important NPC's, and defending keeps that would otherwise be lose conditions. On the topic of this map, since it is one of the most hectic maps the game has to offer (outside of Maddening mode, anyway), it might be a good one to retry if you want to practise playing generally, or with specific units. Shamir, for example, you felt a little underwhelmed by because you didn't engage with her personal skill gimmick. As I said back in my analysis piece on her, her personal skill is rhythm based- in the footage, you'll see that whenever she attacks, she has a dark blue/black circle that flashes around her, this indicates that you have failed to hit the attack button in the correct rhythm. You'll know if you hit it when it flashes light blue, which you did actually do once by accident. It's something you just have to practise, but also something other characters (and one class) have as part of their kits, so it's worth getting the practise in. Not relevant to the episode, but I suddenly remembered it after someone mentioned it a few episodes ago. There is actually a level cap in this game, but it's level 120- you will not reach this. All of that out of the way, now it's time for Holst and Balthus, both of whom are actually quite similar both in a number of ways, including both being very good. Holst is nice and straightforward; he hits hard and he hits fast, and as a mixed attacked, he can do this both physically and magically. If Lorenz is the peak of hybrid units on defence, Holst is... not that for offence, but he is still very good at it. His personal skills are both pretty damn good too. His first gives him increased attack speed, and imbues all his attacks with lightning, when you press ZR, after his little gauge in the bottom right fills up, also just like Lorenz. Unlike Lorenz, you actually do want to press it though. Holst's second personal skill is arguably more helpful, but also trickier to set up. Holst does greater damage to enemy guard gauges when is isn't at full HP, the threshold gets higher when you level this skill up, but at base he has to be at 50% or lower health, which is not ideal, especially for S ranks. But, because getting the game only tracks how much damage you, the player, take, you can send Holst off to fight enemies he is at a disadvantage against so he can take a bunch of damage, and the switch over to him yourself. The special skill Holst gets is from Dark Bishop, and it's Nullify Magic, one we've seen before, and is as good as it sounds. So overall, Holst is great, though admittedly his numbers hold him back from being the best of the best. All the same, he's one of the best units the game has to offer. He's also the last route exclusive unit the Deer get. They get a grand total of three in Claude, Hilda, and Holst, while the Eagles get six, and the Lions get eleven. Balthus is also very good, but he's a lot... messier, kit wise. Mostly, this comes down to his personal skill and his crest having the same anti-synergy they do in the base Three Houses. For his King of Grappling personal, he wants to be at less than 50% HP for a big Crit Rate boost, but his crest can heal him when he uses combat artes. So not ideal. On a more complicated level that doesn't really matter for this run, Balthus' kit is also really messy when it comes to his skills. Statistically, he can work as a mixed attacker, but the skills he has access to just don't facilitate that at all. On a purely numbers level, his best class is Dark Bishop, but only with a specific relic, and none of his skills help him to do that. What his skills do promote is his base class of Grappler, which, again from a numbers perspective, is a pretty mediocre class for him. However, Balthus is the only 'canon' brawler besides Raph, so keeping him in this class does just feel right weapon triangle wise. But what feels even more right is Balthus' other personal skill, which not only increases his damage when he lands a certain number of hits, but you also get gold whenever he launches enemies back. It's a tiny, insignificant amount of gold, but the fact that Balthus runs around literally punching the money out of your enemies pockets is hilarious. Just like Holst, his special skill is also Nullify Magic, from Dark Bishop. Despite the fact that this sounded quite critical, Balthus is great, easily on the same level as Holst, albeit with an unfocused kit. If nothing else, he is Raph but better, which is more of a compliment to Balthus than anything, considering that Raph isn't that bad himself.

It'd be best to at least swap the intermediate classes for those who mastered their current one for training, that way they can still learn skills. Otherwise you're not getting as much out of it as you could. Intermediate Seals still aren't unlimited, but they're not limited to the point you need to hold back on them. Especially if you grab those in the shop since they restock at a new chapter The difference between Invert Physical/Magic and Witstrike/Brawnstrike can get confusing. Invert Physical/Magical will use Magic against defense and strength against resistance. Witstrike will use magic against resistance for a normally physical weapon. Same with Brawnstrike for tomes. I can't help but imagine a Brawnstrike tome them just smacking them with the book C support is required for expeditions. There are total of 16 chapters per route (plus couple secret chapters) excluding paralogues. Paralogues work the same way as three houses, meaning there are route exclusive paralogues and paralogues based on who u recruited in ur army. Funfact: Arval's gender is based on ur protagonist gender so in ur case Arval is female You dont need to worry about missing S rank rewards or any unopened chests from a main mission. Just go to Records Keeper to replay previous chapter. Oh and you cant recruit characters in this way. You made Marrianne adjutant in that battle. You couldve made her stay with Judith to heal her but all's well that ends swell (Alois in the background)

When the screen has the message "Character wants to go on an expedition", it means you'll gain more Support points than normal. I mean... this is the game that confirmed Shamir's bisexuality, so... In basically all Fire Emblems, your army is blue, allies are green, enemies are red, and yellow is another group that is fighting you and your enemies. Ignatz probably has a Battalion that gives him effectiveness over Lance units. "You guys can fight this inconsequential guy." A guy who was surrounded by a green circle, meaning he's required to be defeated. And the goal was to defeat generals; why did you think you had to capture strongholds? I'm pretty sure you can switch to a character by selecting them on the orders map. I don't think I ever switched through them like you've been doing. Ignatz can splatter elemental paint with his attacks. Red is fire, blue is ice I think, yellow is probably electric... read his abilities. ...I don't remember this game having fishing... I don't think it does... If you didn't have two characters to weakness break the Demonic Beast, you probably would have got shmurdered. You can change Combat Arts under Equipment. The only characters exclusive to Golden Wildfire are Claude, Hilda, and Holst, so make sure you get all of their scenes. Who said Arval is a god? "There's grass but I doubt it'll taste good." Somewhere in the distance: "Please, don't eat the weeds." "They don't call me the Master Tactician for nothing!" That's Claude's title lol. Later in the game, you'll be able to sell excess supplies for gold or trade them for supplies you do need. There are technically 6 routes, but only four are worth doing. There's a standard and alternate version of each route based on if you successfully complete a certain strategy. The alternate version (completing the strategy) changes/removes some scenes and lines of dialogue and adds two maps. These maps are the same for all routes, but have different S Rank rewards. Scarlet Blaze, Edelgard's route, has different story beats in the standard and alternate versions. Golden Wildfire keeps the same story, but Claude's motives are better on the standard version. Azure Gleam practically doesn't change at all. There is a secret paralogue that requires you to have completed the alternate version of a route, and then complete the standard version of a route (it doesn't have to be the same route). Azure Gleam basically is the "church route" in this game since Dimitri will always be allied with the church. I find it so weird how Shamir has no conversations with the group she joins automatically. If Hilda fights Balthus- Balthus: Gah! Hilda? Keep this a secret from Holst, would ya? Oh, never mind. You're clearly gonna tell him. Hilda: You should be more careful about what kind of jobs you take on, Balthie. If Lysithea fights Balthus- Balthus: Hey, you're Count Ordelia's daughter!
