Going down when you switch to trad is great advice I went from 70 pound compound to a 48 @my draw longbow and man I hurt for a couple weeks before I got my hands and shoulders used to it

Mine came with no numbers on parts. And I do not recommend following the instructions exactly. If you're going 10 ft assemble the tower like these guys did, in the video. The instructions tell you to mount the blind frame and complete the 5ft section before adding the 10ft extension. I learn, the hard way, to leave the blind assembly until last and install it in the field. Plus my ladder braces were way too short and no predrilled holes. I had to drill holes on the ladder platform then drill the legs where the braces landed. The x-braces didn't fit the factory drilled holes either. I had to assemble the tower legs and then let the x-braces determine where I drilled the correct holes. Overall it's a good stable tower blind but they could have better with factory prefab work and basically the instructions are just suggestions. If you have any mechanical aptitude you can figure it out and just consult the instructions for the pictures.

You should give a Flemish Twist string a try. It will quiet your bow up a lot more. Also, Shatterproof Archery just came out with their Invincible (Flemish) Bowstring. I am picking one up for my Kodiak

A 200 gr Core-lokt out of my Marlin 35 Rem usually drops them nearly in their tracks so I’m quite surprised this doe ran so far. Was any of the backstrap bloodshot with the hit being a little high? Didn’t look like it was that high. Exit hole? 🤔

I hunt in Illinois and would unfortunately have to make the lever action a single shot in order to be legal, does Henry make a magazine plug ? I know they make a single shot rifle, but really want the lever action.

The only things this bow needs to make it great is a drop away rest & after 300 shots swap out the peep for a tubeless one!.
