Do you think a clear coat “spray can”would work if I taped off surrounding area.. (much cheaper in a rattle can)
I don’t think so, it would be better to have a two-part polyurethane clearcoat that utilizes a harder to have the best chance of it staying in the scratch and being able to level it out if spray and stuff really isn’t good.
First time I’ve seen clear coat used. I was at the same point as you, couldn’t sand or buff out a scratch. Trying clear coat next instead of mixing gel coat and colors trying to color match. This seems much easier.

ok so I'm confused. My boat is Signal Gray and I have a dock scratch....the clear coat is...well clear. How does this product replace the color?
What to do if your boat got scratched and it has traveled down to the color portion of the gel coat!

Couple of questions based on my boat. I have a few scratches that look like what your refinished, and then some bumper rash from a faded bumper at tie up. Two separate areas. Bumper rash looks cloudy but not that bad. Love some advice. Can I DM some pics??

I think there’s something to be said for white toolboxes. Seems like I always need all the light reflection that I can get. Also, I really wish these boxes sat lower so I could use a chunk of it as bench space but I’m kinda short.

What’s a budget friends laptop you recommend. And how were you able to have all of those OEM softwares on that one laptop.
Not sure what you mean by "budget friends" maybe friendly? The laptop I have certainly wasn't budget friendly it was around 8,000$ it is a tough book designed to be used for this purpose with 5 different hard drives - one for each different OEM program.

I know it isn’t , unfortunately I had a “regular” laptop before and one program worked fine but I tried to install a second one and it had major issues… programming, diagnostics and calibrations are a major part of what I do for a living so I decided to make the investment and have been trouble free since Check out AE TOOLS that’s where I get most of my specialized equipment from.

I'm here because my eyesight failed due to extremely cold temperature. Dealer said it needs replacement, i canr justify forking that much for a camera! Found a used one for a decent price, but would be risky to pay for part and then someone to calibrate, only to find out its a dud or its something other than the camera.
Best ok luck! From what I’ve read on the service info you should be able to “recode” the camera to your vehicle and hopefully it calibrates. Keep us posted!

@patriciatan6009 Nothing from Subaru yet. I'm in Canada, was quoted $6k which is roughly 14% of the MRSP when I bought 5.5 years ago. I'm feeling like I'm S.O.L. the only thing annoying is the cruise won't work and have that yellow Eyesight and RAB light (R.A.B works, yet light is on) I will update if I hear anything back.
Hello Mike, did you hear anything about this? I am in the same situation. The eyesight stopped working due to the cold and they say it needs to be replaced. We are talking about $5K.
@yimmigutierrez83 I have sent another email to Subaru as I have not heard back from them on 2 months. Seems like this issue is going to compound as warranty periods end, and people have to pay for replacement out of pocket. Hopefully they issue a recall on the part.

How do you turn it? Special tool needed? Also if I go max, any idea what is the most camber you get?
There is a tool available floating around online although i was able to use some adjustable channel locks to rotate the cam. in hindsight, the tool would be helpful and I would recommend it. I don't know off of the top of my head what the maximum achievable camber would be.
