I have owned this microphone for a year and was really happy until one day the Cardioid mode sounded very low and muffled, Fig 8 and Omni sound great. Any ideas why this mode loses quality?

Let's make videos reviewing shady Instagram, Google (CZcams etc), Facebook. Social media in general. Or let's say specific.

The loss of ownership of everything you post is a key issue, and I can't understand why other creators who advocate for Vero don't mention this. Seems like a recipe for disaster. Suppose you take a stunning image and want to sell it? Post it on Vero, and they can sell it too. So it is a sucker trap for creators.

So if you can't delete the app, they will charge you for its use at one point...? There is an option to delete, but I'm not sure if it can be done. Seems they are all the same. Can you delete your Facebook account?? All social media is shady with shady owners, so which one do we pick?? Once they have your email, phone and name, it's too late even if you delete the account. Too bad, nice user UI...

The EUA doesn't mean you lose all your rights to content. It means VERO has the right to use in in any way they see fit. They never say you can't use it.

You claim to be a "social media guy" but you don't have a single clue how social media works? Facebook and Instagram are worse when it comes to being a "social media". If you're willing to look at all the information of a person online then why do you pee your pants when you have to share the same information with others? Instagram kids are afraid now.

So I just downloaded VERO, after Peter McKinnon made me aware of it in his latest video. Start looking for more videos on VERO and came across yours. They have changed a few things over the years. Like the terms of service now states they do not own user content. There is also a delete button (to delete your account) and you can now change your password. However, the fact that those things weren’t in place when the app first launched still worries me. In light of Peter McKinnon promoting the app, I would love to see an updated video by you on your thoughts about the app in 2022. Thx.

Great comparison, was using the Rode VideoMicro for a long time, recently got the Idolcam VlogStar because of the small size and nice audio. Should test that with the all the mics next time.
