Most of his damage comes from his charged heavy attacks. His skills aren't meant for damage but rather to get into his charged attack which does the most damage. So even if u run no skills it can be stronger even if u use the flight over fight sigil

The DLC is technically easier at level 150 NG0. However, I will admit the MIND advantage of over leveling does really help faith incantation casters which have it rough in this DLC.

I have mind to 40 or 50 with all builds so I don’t have to waste a larval tear when I wanna use a caster build or spam an ash of war on a boss

Agreed on max lvl. But put in the time, be on NG+7 and see how you do.

There is no reason to stay at level 150 when the game allows you to go higher.

@@gmrjayz The point is it's not a good 'build'. For other people to mimic what you're doing they also have to be extremely high level. There is nothing clever about that, you simply over leveled so it's not impressive or instructive.

@@jeffx40 Even though I am max level most stats are not getting any benefit. Such as strength, and intellect and dexterity are doing nothing in this build other than having me use the shield and that's it.

@@gmrjayz Max mind is giving you enough mana to spam extremely high cost spells. Max endurance is also allowing you to spam the spells more due to high stamina, wear the heaviest armor and shield without being over weight and block more without running out of stamina. As you said max str allows for the shield. In a more normal level build you'd have 60 vigor and prob about 80 of your damage stat (faith in this case) and you wouldn't have enough left to do any of the other things you've done here much less all of them. That's why max level is uninteresting, you don't have tough choices, you can just do everything making it not much of a build at all, as I said.

Not really. It just allows for easy switching of builds without having to respec. U can still get killed easily if not played correctly

Very true. Dude has 99 on all stats and it's only doing a measly 700 damage. At that level and stats a lot of things do much more damage, with more range, and speed... Try that shield on a Lv150 character and see how bad it is. This vid is clickbait garbage just like almost every other Elden Ring OP video out there.

having a shield scale with 4 stats with 99 in each does boost the dps by a large margin. my 120 def could do close to the same damage if i changed armour but def less hp ,fp, and stamina.
