Scripting in HW is just fricken' painful ! I mean, I get that it's there to help noobs code... and that's cool. But, if they want anything nice they've really gotta give us an external editor and let us code up worlds on the PC. Hell, even just an 'advanced' option to use a keyboard to directly enter code would be something. Plus KB shortcuts for the controller actions - because keep putting down and picking up controllers would be a pain. Ideally, we should be able to create whole worlds without going anywhere near a headset until we want to do a proper walkthrough test. I looked at the effort/result ratio and figured it's just not worth my time just now : /

Great video! I'll be studying this until I understand it thoroughly :) Volume a bit too low, tho. How are you scripting on PC? Also, is there a way to loop through the player list created by the system, or do you need to create your own player list in order to loop through all players? When using "get player from index" it seems to always return a number, even when the index is above the number of actual players.

when I record an animation and click stop, it doesn't jump back to to it's original place. so I have to manually re-align it again which is a pain trying to figure out where your animation will end to so the object aligns. it jumps back fine after it has been re-aligned.

This is a great tutorial for how to make constant animations and animations caused by some form of button but if you've seen the person who made the water and earth bending map, he had animations that where activated with the buttons on the controller, how do you do an animation like that?

THEN I grouped it and tried to place it in the doorway I wanted it to go and 😢 it over rotates and won't sit properly.... Couple quick notes: - If you go the local script route, delete the grab end setting player to empty, it breaks the haptics if the player let's go - Consider setting ammoText in the reload event, otherwise the text won't work perfect. You could also update the text when reloading to something like "R" for reloading... - For local scripts keep the setting of isRightHanded in the gun grab event in case they swap hands
