Hi everyone! With a name like Fisher, I think I found the right passion! I grew up on Sanibel Island and fell in love with the outdoors and the surrounding waters and environments. My dad taught me the basics and I have never looked back.
I hope to bring you some great fishing experiences and share some of my general knowledge when it comes to gear, rigging, and finding fish. A lot of my videos may be based off of our 2200 Pathfinder or my L4 LIVEwatersports paddleboard allowing me the best of SWFL fishing!
Please feel free to ask questions and leave comments!

Tripletail Fishing the Beaches of Southwest Florida! (NON-STOP ACTION)
This was a day like no other. We had non-stop action fishing a large school of tripletail right off the beach in SWFL and they were HUNGRY! We were getting a bite nearly every cast. Check out this highlight reel shot on my GoPro Hero 2. This is some older footage that I felt was just too good not to share. I hope you enjoy this voice over content and let me know what you think of the fishing!

How to Throw a Cast Net (BIG or small)
zhlédnutí 622Před 14 dny
Hey everyone, I have thrown a lot of different sizes of cast net growing up and I have two different styles of throwing my nets. My method of throwing is usually driven by the size of the net. So in this video I show you how to throw a big cast net and how you can throw a small cast net. The method for throwing the smaller cast net is particularly easy for kids to use! Let me know if you have a...

Damn near one and done? More like 1 and then some lol
Haha, for sure!
Great work I can barely catch a Brook trout!
Haha, spend some time in Florida and you are sure to catch some bigger fish!
What a great day 🙌
Thanks!
bait? that can feed 3 ugandan village tf you mean
Maybe 2 villages
Was this recently?
About 1.5 months ago
I’m a fisherman and I like it but you’ll never use all that bait. There’s not a left for anybody else.
I would rather have too much than not enough, we always let go what we don’t use at the end of the day. And this school of bait went all down the beach!
🙌🙌🙌
👏👏
Definition of 1 and done 😂
Haha, exactly!! I wish I had days like this every trip!
That’s when you need a new net guy lol
Hahaha
Great video! Love the format!
Thanks! I’m excited to do more catch clean and cooks!
Man those things are so good to eat! Used to catch them by the bouys in the ship channel.
They are super tasty and offer a great fight!! Buoys are for sure the way to go!
🙌
😄
Yea I did like 2 days ago I was bass fishing had no net and was in one of them crappy pedal boats I hooked a 4 pounder and jumped in chest deep water to grab em also I’m from the north so a 4lber is big here
A 4 pound bass anywhere is a quality fish! Was it tangled up in something before you jumped in at least? haha. And I know exactly the pedal boat you mean!
For a fish like that yes
Ya, some dinky fish probably aren’t worth going after lol
The commitment is real 😂
Haha, very much so!
Update: We were experiencing some issues jumping on plane and were not reaching our anticipated top speeds with the three blade prop that was on our motor. So we switched to a four blade prop and immediately improved our rate of getting up onto plane and were able to achieve our typical top speed. This was the first time I had to consider changing props and it made a huge difference. So if your motor is not performing just right, changing the prop is something to consider!
It’s that style of hook keeper I about I had a shimano like that and I stopped using it from fear of losing a lure. It was looping around it mid cast about 1 out of every thirty casts and it was no longer trust worthy once it cost me a few fish
I think I just started really with a lot of slack out between my reel and the first eyelit on this occasion, but that is something I will keep an eye out for! Thanks!
But why gloves?
Sun protection! My hands are always getting burned and I’d rather not put sunscreen on my hands, especially when I’m handling live bait.
Good stuff man!
I appreciate it! Thanks!
Did I see a stingray?
Looks like it
Haha, good eye!
Thanks for the great tips!
Happy to share!
Update: we switched from a 3 blade to a 4 blade prop as we experienced some issues jumping up on plane and were not happy with the top speed/rpm. The new prop has been a perfect fit so far. Significantly improving the rate of getting on plane and we even maintained if not increased our top speed.
Great catch!
Thanks!
Some more great use of old footage Ram! I'd also add that I don't think you need that many chapters in that first minute or so. I thought it all flowed together well and really wouldn't think to try and skip ahead that small a distance. Just a thought, great vid!
Thank you! I really appreciate the feedback! Please always feel welcome to share what you think!
What kind of fish was it
This was a redfish!
That looks absolutely delicious
Oh it was!! Mesquite seasoned!
Never gets old watching you pull up those monsters, especially on the l4🤘
Thank you! I love finding these fish! So fun to catch and super tasty.
How big was she?
I wanna say 36 or so. I can’t recall exactly. Super fortunate to land this fish in the mangroves.
Another great day. Yes…love to see a Catch and Clean vid. I have never really perfected the art of cleaning / filet. Also - any recipes you would share would be awesome. Keep the content coming.
I hope to film a catch and cook soon! I have been doing a lot of mesquite grilled fish lately, so I’m excited to make a video of it! Other favorite recipes are blackened or Italian breading and air fried!
Nice couple of fish. Tripletail off a paddleboard. Sick. Where are you? West Gulf? How far off beach…looks like 20-30 yards. We head down this week for a month. Pumped to get my sticks in the water.
Thank you! And anywhere you can find some crab pots or no wake buoys. Lost crab pots are the best!!
Nets are a thing. Just saying.
Haha, definitely would have been helpful this time.
Love this video format! Another great day of fishing👍
Thank you very much!
Thanks. I saw someone do this on another video without explaining or showing what they did and I thought they hooked it through the eye balls. I was like "what a psycho" lol.
Haha, thank you! Ya the way you hook your bait can change whether or not you get a bite sometimes! Some People do hook pilchard through the front of their eye socket, but they don’t last as long that way
Don’t listen to anyone that drives Hyundai
haha, why is that? lol
no u can see he swam down right before the net its just a fish
If I am fishing in the wind at all, I like to hook them underneath, right above the anal fin. They throw for a country mile rigged that way!
Haha, now that you mention it, I’ve hooked them like that a few times and they did always cast great! Haha
Which prop are you running on your motor and what has the performance of the motor been like for you. Looking at repower if my 07 pathfinder with the same motor.
We are still running our last motors 3 blade prop. We are currently in the process of switching it to a 4 blade prop as we had issues jumping on plane. Overall, happy with the motor, just looking to get the right prop on it.

Looking to repower with that exact motor on a 2008 pathfinder 2200 tournament. What’s your review of the motor so far, and what top speed are you getting with it. Thank you.
I’ve been a fan of the motor so far. We kept our previous motors 3 blade on and only had a top speed of 43mp, but are switching it out for a 4 blade prop to improve the rate of jumping up on plane.
If your only getting 43 mph there is a problem and your hurting the break in for sure which is very important on these motors to seat the rings so they don't make oil/ dilute oil with fuel. It's a must that you can hit 5800 atleast 6000 is better. Keep a close eye on that oil bet its making plenty. Just put same motor on a skeeter sx210 which is a heavier boat and i hit 55 mph at 6k rpm and she gets on plane yesterday @RamseyFisher
@@thomasmcrae6411haha, i love the comment “gets on plane yesterday”. And check out my pinned comment on this video, we did realize we were experiencing low performance with the three blade and switched it to a four blade prop and received much better results. We did not open it all the way up to full throttle on the last outing, it was a bit choppy, but we did reach 43mph with more room to boogie. I appreciate the comment, always more to learn.
Great videos. We have a place on Sanibel and I am recently retired. Very interested in the Paddle Board fishing - just got my first inflatable board for fishing. Keep making content. Very helpful. I am new to all this - specifically fishing the mangroves. Is that Ding Darling you are fishing? Have you had any problems with gators?
Thank you! And ya a paddleboard is a great way to fish. And I have not had any problems with alligators, but they can be found once in a while, especially if you are fishing any brackish or freshwater areas. So always be mindful.
Nice fish...
Thanks!
@@RamseyFisher no problem...
my biggest about 25 lbs
Nice! Do you remember what the length was?
Mind me asking which boat ramp you used?
Sanibel ramp 👍
I've had those fish Hooker.Remover's parallel knows needle knows pliers works better for me

Thank you! Happy to hear it!
I would take a part 1 or part 2 any day! Amazing video!
