You’re very welcome! Always good to get a reward flight, premium economy sounds very wise for that length of flight too. Legroom wise, as you say economy would be fine however, you’ll find with the recline and general seat comfort, you should be able to sleep that bit better in PE. Safe flight!

Great question, I’d recommend seat guru for a wing overview, they’re subtle there but you can see the wings.

@@teachermichelle9632 It's just that I record everything on my phone. Now that you and @Travelsbydreamer told me the advantage of it I will book those seats in the future 🙂.

Typically upon booking you can with any airline however, depending on status, this often comes at a cost. With BA my can select at any time with gold or silver status, with bronze you can choose 7 days before and with all other ticket types,I think it’s only on check in. Turbulence wise, I’d recommend a seat on the wing for the smoothest ride :)

Yeah, I’m sure it can, purely because the European business class model is all about flexibility in that they can push the curtain back and slap on a couple of middle trays and hey presto, sell more business class tickets so as result, I’d imagine they’re pretty quick to dispose of if you wanted that closeness. Have a fab flight :)

It was the most brief of stays sadly so not too sure. The sukhimvit area in general is very well served with everything you’d typically need. I just took grab taxis around which was ideal. The hotel is near some of the best night life spots also in the city

It has varied significantly post Covid and largely has been pretty expensive. Does depend massively route to route however. I recently flew with them and got a phenomenal deal so there’s definitely good fares out there. Thankfully with status, that gets passengers around having to pay. Regretfully, paying for advanced seat selection is pretty standard now in the industry…even in business class 😔

Good god, that sounds horrendous! I’m keen to do more of the US carriers in their premium cabins for the channel but your comment for sure hasn’t inspired me! 😅

Don't get me wrong the seating was very nice and actually has better leg support as the seat had a leg rest instead of the tacky footrest most if not all Virgin planes have. But when I pay considerably more for premium vs main cabin I expect an upgrade with the meal service too. I now try to avoid Delta and take Virgin Atlantic if possible. Especially now that they've overhauled (downgraded) their loyalty program. In the past if I took two premium select flights I'd have enough points to get silver status whereas now I'd have to get 4 or 5 of those flights

That’s a really good one! I feel a little 50/50. Tbh, just for the benefit of getting off first the front row CE probably best and with that you get the leg room also. I like the service onboard and the drinks etc. So perhaps just about CE if front row otherwise, I do tend to go economy for the exit row and awful lot then enjoy the club benefits off the aircraft :)

Yes, absolutely. They’ll often tell you where the relevant lounge is at the check in desks.

Thanks! Mostly Apple products but that could well change into the future! In terms of the recording element, I’m usually on before most passengers then don’t record much work people in shot. The crew are quite wise to people vlogging these days also as so many people do it. Airlines such as Qantas have begun introducing restrictions within this space also around filling crew and passengers faces etc

Haha thankfully toilet visit wasn’t as result of the take off roll 😂 Just has to be fever tree doesn’t it, such a touch of class about it, especially when from the glass bottles! Toilets looking their age for sure! Lots more from BA coming soon, including their first cabin 😃

Not on the narrow bodied aircraft type sadly. Seat was really modern and comfortable however so wouldn’t have been too hard to sleep in for me but not on the same level as a fully flat bed for sure :)
