makes me so sad, I LOVE IT <3 thank you internet person
Love this so much!!
100th like :)
Love you eric 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Gran trabajo de Eric Clapton, despuntando, cómo gran guitarrista
This is indeed so sad :(
I miss George's drums :(
You are the best!
So glad this was randomly recommended to me, awesome stuff!
x2
Me vine
This is awesome!!
Have bootlegs from his tour in support of 461 Ocean Blvd. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! He played Little Queenie / Sweet Little Rock N’ Roller on that tour but the difference was Eric and Yvonne were drunk. It is great to hear Eric do those songs justice
EC rocks out!
Never heard this before ....when was this?
Yes å❤❤❤❤RAa
Topp😊
It's not a patch on the Beano version recorded about 3 months later but then I've heard bits and bobs of EC about this time - jams with (the awful) Page and the Champion Jack stuff - and I think those 3 days at Decca (late March or early May depending on what you read) he was having a magic moment, even for him then, unsurpassed. I saw an early Cream gig and the progress from the Mayall gigs was astonishing.
Not only does eric play some mean blues, but rocks out on this one like he invented it!
They were the opening act for the Stones in Europe 1970. Eric was a guest player inParis, sept 22th, Palais des Sports.
a talented group that lasted only one year 1970-1971 but a sad Story of this group The members are affected by many tragedies: Duane Allman is killed in a motorcycle accident on October 29, 1971, Carl Radle dies on May 30, 1980 following kidney problems caused by addiction to drugs and alcohol , and Jim Gordon killed his mother with a hammer during a crisis of schizophrenia in 1983. the only survivor but the most talented : Eric Clapton
How could you forget Bobby Whitlock
EC and the minos the best.. Can't beat that jim gordan hittin them skins.. He was one of the best!
ben/ i been a musician and music lover my whole life. you nailed it. Jim Gordon ...a brilliant musician
too bad,he cracked up, murdered his mother, & ended up in the Looney bin 🤪
Gracias por su herencia,Mr 🎸.
Intresting, ... *Deep Purple: BLACK NIGHT ? !!!* czcams.com/video/QuAKMlfxX7I/video.html
D & D should have been in the R& R hall of fame long ago
If that happens then Eric will have gone from the only 3 time inductee to the only 4 time member of the Rock and Roll Hall of fame
Do I hear Delaney and Bonnie or just DDs
Eric has had such a tremendous career. He does it all. I think this is my favorite period of his legendary career.
Pretty poor mono recording, but Clapton's guitar just flows right through it, and the Domino's manage not to get in the way at all.
Thank you
This was and still is timeless. Just too bad they didn't last too long. Still one of my favorite Clapton acts.
watch Rod Stewart with billy peak (Chuck's protege) on lead guitar
Yes !!
way too fast; however, I am impressed they did it. It needs brother duane allman sliding home like he did on the Ronnie Hawkins version of matchbox
Naw, it's great without Skydog.
Yeah, D&D didn't 'need' anyone.
@@claritydreamsleeves541 only a tone deaf moron would make such a claim, my son is friends with Bobby Whitlock who said, "duane allman" made the Layla sessions come alive. totally unfocused until Clapton asked Duane to play. Listen to live shows with Duane(tho the sound quality is not good) to hear the energy. Duane Allman & Bobby Whitlock's contributions are beyond immense
@@mickgriffin3843 totally too fast & unfocused with the "sky man", Wilson Pickett named him sky man long before sky dog became his nickname
D&D don't need Sky dog on this one baby! Not his dig.
Give credit to Chuck Berry. I was only about 8 or 9 when I fell in love with this new thing called " rock and roll" . I am 75 now and still rockin!!!!
Keep on keepin on, right?
In europe the "powerhouse"recordings was availabel on a LP called"whats shakin"
♥♥♥
Is this on commercial Cd ??????
Like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones , Eric Clapton play "Little Queenie" in A chord.
this is one of the best live clapton vocals i have ever heard. seems like he's putting more into it.
Rubbish
🤦🏻♂️
Yes, but it’s British rubbish.🤣
I was riding my bike in 66.didnt have a clue about this. what were you doing?
Don't know, mate. Oh wait.... I wasn't born yet.
I probably swam around in my father's ball sack eager to be born in 30 years
If America was not so racist bands from the UK would never have made it in the states. Respect to Chuck Berry. His music will live forever, it's even on the voyage spacecraft.
This is sublime. Thank you!!!
Absolutely brilliant
The Stones version was far superior.. .this is just average in comparison..
Chuck Berry is the best.
@@davidbrown8517 true, But I'm the real king of rock and roll.
Dave Edmunds owns this song's ass
The stones are by far the most overrated band there is lmao mick Taylor and Brian Jones mad that band. Mick is gay Keith can only play three chords Charlie and bill are good enough
Now that made my day.GIVE ME MORE!!!!
OMG is there nothing that Eric can do that is simply Amazing!! He is a true gift from God!!
Clapton é deliziato
Never heard this before I am always searching for new EC material. D&TD are the pinnacle of his career I think!
I'm assuming ya' familiar with the Layla box set, the jam sessions CD ? Needless to say the band is phenomenal but, gee, EC is incredible (my fav' is jam #4).
@@terrycarthy4433 you are a fool, sir! Jam #3 is clearly the most spectacular. It is the genesis of the music of Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad, my favorite Clapton original.
@@TheCapedWanderer ; thanks for calling me "a fool" (takes one to know...etc etc). And I certainly enjoy jam #3 too.
@@terrycarthy4433 😅 that escalated quickly.
@@fivehead6675 ; I thought so too ! Touchy subject liking/ enjoying one jam/ tune over another. Tough world huh ??
Super! Eric Clapton 👏🎸
This was hands down one of the best bands I've ever heard and I think I speak for the majority that knows what RNR really is and there plenty of different types of RNR and I have my own opinions about that and Skynyrd... Marshall Tucker..Allman Bro's...SRV and on and on but this her is my go to when I start thinking about the past and I'm just 56 but I have reasons for this and it just reminds me of my Uncle I used to play with and he was untouchable around where I live with this kinda music .
