    If you want to fix the problem with clearing multiple lines only clearing one of them and then just moving the rest down anyway; Find the < attached to the "Cut Off Line Z" variable in the Check Lines BP, and flip it to a > Also change the default from 2000 to just 0 I tested it several times and couldn't find any issues with it

    Was trying to find how to use enhanced input with this and it took forever for me to find the solution despite it being insanely simple To make the block read input from the player: In the block's BP Drag off of EventBeginPlay Add Enable Input Drag off of Player Controller on the Enable Input Add Get Player Controller

    Ah, was looking for how to make sure the pieces do not hyperjump me around when I collide with them. Wish the pieces were non-collision when stepped upon. Darn it, gotta check for more tutorials.

    I have everything implemented for the spawn locations, the gamemode to get the locations and add them to the array, and the event graph things for assigning to a player and spawning the player pawn. For some reason to the best of my troubleshooting, it seems that the get all actors of class is either not getting the spawn locations or not setting them in the array. Everything is set up exactly as the video shows prior to setting up spawning units. Trying to get this step to work properly before adding onto it.

    hello , thank you for this tutorial , very usefull !! i have a question about your mesh , how do you do to put a material on the tube without setting the glass or metal covering the glass ? and after , you set the material only to the covering glass.... is there some group on the mesh to set textures ? is it an imported mesh ? or from UE ? can you make an over tutorial for that ? thank you .

    For anyone having a bug where certain units don't get deselected (e.g., if I just click in a far away spot, all of them should get deselected), it's because he's deleting elements in an array, while iterating through that array. To fix it, create a new variable vector of actors you'd like to remove, and then after you found all the actors you want to remove, you can iterate through that new variable and remove them from Selected Units. Make sure to also clear this new variable vector after you remove stuff! :)

    I am in UE 5.4 and clicked "empty emitter" but when I did I couldn't find anything you had mentioned. Once I created a "SingleLoopingParticle" everything in the tutorial lined up. Is this right? When I am at the step of selecting the OUTPUT sample color, no outputs show on my list. What am I doing wrong? Only Inputs show.

    It's a bad technique to do this based on mouse events, because if the mouse stays on the edge of the screen and you don't move it, the screen won't move.

    Hello! Currently I am having an issue with the Get AIcontroller node in UE 5.1.2 where whenever I try to call it exactly as done in this video, the AIcontroller returns a None during simulation and fails to function. Currently I have my Characters assigned to Auto Possess on Spawned or Placed as well. Everything is connected the exact same way as this video. Please send help!

      Maybe you are using multiplayer net mode (client or listen server). This video is for standalone mode. I had the same issue

    PLEASE HELP! Everything has been working untill @11:50. When the game starts in the main menu, I see the original Top Down Character falling from the sky. When "Host" is pressed, the camera is set to the same top down view port (center of map in the sky facing down) ignoring the camps. When "Join" is pressed, the original Top Down Character is spawned in the middle of the map with the camera locked in place, with only the Marquee box being the only thing that responds. I do have my game modes set properly with RTS_GameModeBase,MarqueeHUD,Playercontrol. NOTE: I just deleted the original top down BP_Character and now when I press join, the camera looks like @4:15.

    None of this worked for me. The virtual height field material was extremely blurry. And there is displacement, but it's very rounded and over very large areas. Nothing looks right.

      Figured it out. You can't use virtual textures in your landscape material. You can only use regular textures. It works now.
