There are objectively better entrances, but my personal favourite has always been Baron's! First time I saw it (I was a teen at the time), I liked it so much I even created a new profile named Baron. In other words, I made the guy climbing the blacklist from number 10 to the most wanted with his Cayman.

Just my personal take on each of these: #15 - Given his car is not actually that impressive as far as performance goes, a simple speedy approach to the start line was okay. But overall entrance was not hard. #14 - We see a random irrelevant pursuit happening and all Taz really does is casually pull up next to you. Nothing special. #13 - Nice and cinematic, adds some tension because Vic is driving in a way that should draw police attention when there are cops right there by the start line. It's a pretty hard entrance but not the hardest. #12 - It's a pretty cool entrance, got some energy in it and definitely a hard entrance, but not what I would dub as the hardest entrance. #11 - Probably an unpopular opinion, but Big Lou rocking up with an entourage criss-crossing each other as he approaches is kinda cringe and more flashy than anything else. I feel they could have done a better job with this one, so definitely not a hard hitter in my books. #10 - Slipping underneath the truck was pretty cool but I think what kinda kills the vibe a bit is waiting for the truck to drive past before approaching the start line. It hits hard but the end bit dampens it. #9 - This is also a very cool entrance, but what bugs me about it (and this is being pedantic), is when the cars stop at the start line, it's just so cheaply done. When #15 gets to the start line and brakes, the car lurches forward as it stops, adding some realism to the physics. In #9's entrance, this does not happen and its kinda bad. #8 - Jewels' entrance has that ominous vibe to it, waiting in the shadows and the music just adds to that vibe. It's not flashy like some of the other ones which makes the racers seem cocky, so this is was a strong contender for hardest hitting imo. #7 - I get Kaze is suppose to be this crazy racer, but two things completely ruin her entrance's chance of being a hard hitter. The first is ramping over the parked busses. Her car is fast enough to clear the jump but if you watch carefully, they tried using cut scenes to hide the fact she doesn't clear it and there's impact sparks visible for a moment at the edge of the row of busses before she starts making her landing. The second issue is if you have damage set to on in the game, her car is all scratched up which gives more of the impression she's just reckless and not a very good driver, therefore not much of a threat. Not a hard hitting entrance for sure. #6 - I don't know what they were going for here but it was terrible. The first two scenes imply Ming (in a modded Lambo) is racing stock cars, the first one he beats by split seconds, and the second one he manages to overtake moments before the finish line. That just tells me he's a shit driver and wins purely by luck. Shoving the civilian car into the water tank just says he's a dick but does not make him seem like a potentially tough opponent or anything, especially since civvy cars are so delicate on the roads. So this would be at the bottom of the hardest hitting entrances, really. #5 - A pretty cool entrance, but overall was a bit bland and lacked some form of wow factor. But it wasn't over the top or cringe, and the way he lands the approach to the start line was cool, so I'd say it's a hard hitter. #4 - This was a cool and unique entrance, and gave off the vibe of an old western stand off/showdown. Simple yet went for a more tension-based feel and nailed it. Definitely in the top 3 hardest hitting. #3 - This was just a busy entrance and the fact it shows you driving down the ramp to the start line kinda makes it look like YOUR entrance instead of Ronnie's. I think it would have worked better if they did the pursuit bit, then you drive into the dock yard seeing the carnage from the pursuit and have Ronnie come idling down the ramp to the start line. #2 - Basically the same approach as #8's entrance, but driving though the smoke/steam was a nice touch, and the music playing wasn't ominous but somehow felt like something one could play for a flashback of the last encounter and that this race is a bit more personal for both parties. #1 - Razor does a 1.5 second wheelspin and then it's basically dialog from your POV in the seat of your car. A lot of hard work goes into making it to this moment in the game and given how cinematic some of the other entrances were, I feel they could have done something particularly special and epic, building up some extra hype as you and Razor drive to the meet up point first and then do the whole dialog bit. Very anticlimactic, so it gets the spot above #6's entrance. For me it was between #8 and #2, but I think given that there's some slight history between you and #2 from earlier in the game, I would say #2 had the hardest hitting entrance.
