An R-rated scene was left in the movie. When Gidget goes out to (I forget) either water ski or surf she falls off and needs to be rescued. When hauling her into the boat one of the rescuers grabs her breast and lifts her into the boat. She didn't complain. At least not on camera. Quite racy for way back when.

Deborah Walley was a terrific Gidget. She had an athletic, tomboyish quality that the real surfer girls have.

Now we are talking....the loveliest couple ever. Too bad it didn't last.

My favourite TV show of the 70s. One episode in particular inspired me to write my own western and a quote from the same episode I've repeated at every wedding I've ever been to, including my own. Im currently rewatching the series again and although I have this particular box set I don't have seasons 2 and 3. Thank goodness I can stream the seasons I don't have.

I love Mack The Knife and I was a Kevin Spacey fan so of course I saw Beyond The Sea and then I fell in love with Bobby. I never knew he had such a troubled life and still kept smiling through everything. I started listening to all his songs and started watching him on CZcams and I love him even more. He was so talented, charming and so handsome. In my opinion he’s the best out of all the crooners, including Frank. That says a lot because I love Dean Martin but Bobby had something special. I say this repeatedly but I wish I had born at least 40 years earlier because I love the oldies plus people were different back then. RIP Bobby. ❤❤

Michael Callan has passed away. That's what the switchboard operator is trying to tell us. Almost all of the "Gidget" cast and crew members have passed away.

I also know that not too many people in Hollywood CA. as well as in the real world: also favor more of "Star Trek" & not Gidget Griffin/Francine Lawrence. It's always the majority of what people want. 🌎 💯 😌 ✨️ 💙 🙌 🌎

What a perfect fit David Janssen was to play the part of Kimble. Also such great guest stars like Telly Savalas, Charles Bronson, Suzanne Plesette, just to name a few. In my opinion the only T.V series to rival the Fugitive since has been Quantum Leap. Scott Bakula was the perfect fit for Sam in that show.

He was such a doll and he has been largely forgotten. It's too bad he was so talented. That Kevin Spacey movie was God awful too. But in a way I'm glad because then Bobby can be a secret from the rest of the world!

It would have been David's 92nd birthday today I miss him so much there was no one better than him he was wonderful I watch him all the time but wish they would repeat Harry O on UK TV that would be great RIP my sweet David xxx
