I have a Mac + iPad and a Pixel phone. What's the most straight forward way I can ensure proper syncing between all three devices? I know I could get obsidian sync but I'm worried about the storage size and am looking for alternatives.

Thank you for this tutorial, very complete. The error on 1:22:07 was due to having different quotation marks (the ones surrounding "Queryable Database" are different from the supposed ones)

If only obsidian were completely free, just like Joplin.

Very nice video series, I think it will help me improve my recent transition to Obsidian so thank you for posting! I also like the daily note approach since it is similar to the physical journaling I was doing before. With Obsidian I have found myself frequently creating new notes without a clear idea of what I was writing about because it felt like having many focused, inter-linked notes is the "encouraged" approach in other creator videos. That "extract selection to note" feature is excites me because I think it will streamline the daily-journal-to-useful-note pipeline that feels more natural.

This has led me to realize the different use cases of different note taking apps Obsidian is a direct competitor to Notion, the idea of nested documents OneNote however is more of an infinite canvas, a large series of notebooks open at the same time

This video is more than a year ago, obsidian has gotten many updates, is this still valid in todays time though?

Even though this is a 3 year old review, I think it still stands up as the best. So many reviewers of this product, even pretty tech savvy ones, for some reason, just don't seem to grasp the purpose and unique positioning of it. But you've nailed it.

Watched the whole video and took notes. Ended up deleting my git desktop/repository because my windows command line wasn't recognizing the git command, this in turn deleted my vault. But hey, that's whatever. Great video, glad I have this info saved in my brain at least haha.

Excelent video! Very useful for beginners in Obsidian. The first half explains the basics very clearly, the second half offers a "city tour" of the main useful resources and plugins. Nice idea to join many videos in one course! Thank you for the great job!

The Hashtags and Links have always been confusing because I've seen videos where they utilized it differently. They use Links as Tags and say it's more efficient this way. It's like a confusing rabbit hole.

Between 46:50 and 49:40, you're using links to interconnect pages between. When I'm creating a link on a specific sentence and then try to press it, I create a new note to fill out the information which isn't what I want. If I transfer that link to the other page, then clicking on it, will also create a new note instead of jumping to the place where the link originally has been created. What am I missing out on? How can I make the link do nothing (i.e. not open a new note) on the original page and when I put the link in another page, how can I make it jump back to my literature note if I ever need an explanation?

does obsidian have an iphone app? if not, is there a 3rd party work around?
