I'm starting this september after I've just turned 24. I am pretty confident I'll be doing okay academically I'm just so worried that I'm going to struggle socially.

I initially skipped college hoping that I would just land a job with a good company where I could move up fast, but it never happened. Now I'm 24 and starting college in the fall for engineering.

I’ll be graduating with my bachelors when I’m 29. It’s really never too late to get educated and create something great! Comparison is the thief of joy. We all do it but compare yourself to the person that matters most in this journey: yourself!

Changing at 27 so I will graduate like at 33. After 6 years trying to finish med school with a 3 years gap in the middle because I left my country and after that I had to date medicine all over again. 3 years in my country, 3 years gap, 4 years here and then… change for dentistry. I still have 5 years ahead 😢

Thank you for sharing your perspective on this subject. I am currently 27 & haven't done anything education-wise beyond studying Games Development as a school-leaver, and most recently, re-sitting my English & Maths to get those updated (which was achieved this year just gone). It's tough at the moment being someone who still lives at home & has someone who relies on me to be working to get by day-to-day. It's tough at my current job where most people are in their mid-40s and over who I can't really relate with as well as people closer to my age, so my social life is almost non-existent, so it makes me think that education is the way to go, but coming out of work would be a big challenge with current circumstances. Despite this, I will always keep education as an option in my mind, and hopefully the stars will align for me to find a good time to start again! Edit: I also feel the main benefactor of getting into education again is to build a social network, in which we can mutually benefit each other & help each other on our journey's to getting into a dream job, so that would be the main drive for me to go back.

I started college at 21 and chose to study music I did so bad on my first year I didn’t understand anything and lost my laptop in the process but I sure had fun and it was the best time of my life currently now I just turned 26 and am going back on track to my associate degree in music

Hello, I’m so glade to find this video .. thank you for sharing. I’m a Moroccan student i graduate from high school in 2020 .. and now I took my associate degree in environmental engineering by 2023. But now I want to change my major and study abroad with a scholarship and I think i have to prepare for IELTS and SAT i guess. I am so scared and I don’t know if I should do it or not. Please if any of you guys has any suggestions and advices for me. I’ll appreciate it so much 😢 I am 22 now

Just to give some perspective, here in Singapore, males typically graduate at 25-26. Females at 23-24. Hearing all of you complaining about graduating late but still in your early 20s made me feel all kinds of bad. I suffered from major health issues, hence I am only graduating at around 28…

I graduated hs in 2016 and worked min wage barista jobs for 5 years while taking like one class a quarter at a CC. Was so tired of it so i decided to consistently sign up for classes and transferred to a uni in 2022. I was 24 at the time and living on campus I felt like a teenager loooool. The friends I made were like 20-22 so it wasnt that bad but in class is where I felt weird like i was around 18 year olds and the TAs were my age hahahaha. I went to a couple of parties that my friends invited me to and I felt so weird being there as well lol. Im 25 now in my last year I am hoping to find at least ONE friend who is my age!!! other than feeling awkward sometimes i dont regret it and i am thankful to be where im at now!

I’m now 19 and I was always stressful about my age. Most of my igcse classmates are around 16/17. Because of covid and military in my country, I spent my times by doing nothing for 3yrs maybe and I also decided to be cdm student for my country. So I didn’t finish my high school education of my country. After that I took IGCSE olevel btw the results will be coming out soon😭. However there are still so many requirements to get into university🥹. My parents are also tired and I have 3 younger siblings :)) Since I’m the oldest in my family, I get so many hopes from my parents. They spent a lot of money just for meTT Anyway, I think my university life will start in my early 20s . But now I know there are so many people who are suffering than me in this cmt section. I will go and fight for my life!!!!

I went thru high school not wanting to go to college so I didn’t really apply myself for a lot of it. Idk what my gpa is but Ik it probably isn’t good. I’m 20 now working full time as a cook and I’ve realized over the past year I want to go to a 4 year college and I’m scared of what it’s gonna take to get into college but I’m gonna get it done. I really have no idea what I’m doing, I’m just starting the research process for which college I want to go to and what major I want to pick. I’m really interested in anthropology/sociology or anything related to those kind of things but I know a lot of people say don’t major in those things. If anyone can give me any type of advice please do, it would be very appreciated

The only con of going to college be it University or community college which is what I did, is not being able to relate to the 18 years olds. Which is not really a con in my eyes. It's easier to make friends in you mid 20's, especially if you don't quit your job and somehow balance both. Keeps you busy throughout the week for sure. Plus! I believe going back to school in your mid 20's is best because you actually care about your grades since you're most likely paying for it yourself.

I’m a 99” Baby, so I am now 24. I spent the years being 18-21 failing college partying. So I felt like I started college at 22, it feels weird getting older in classes. I know have my associates degree and am on track for my bachelors. We’ll get through it!
