Big Pine 10/2023 with Dad and Moko
Moko's first big day with some off trail mixed in! He was kept on leash around others and per Inyo guidelines under voice control when away from others. This was only during the time we spent higher up off trail. We had a beautiful fall day during the Solar Eclipse!

Late August Loop up Cascade Canyon and down Paintbrush Canyon. Stunning area in the evening light. 4 bears and lots of hikers/backpackers.
Wonderland Trail - Rainier 2021

3 days on the beautiful Wonderland Trail in Rainier NP. Snagged a last minute permit for the 93 mile loop. Forecast was good and then had got the classic PNW clouds and mist. Thankful for the company of Clay and Stevie on the evening of day 2. Points for in the future: busy, some sections are near the road, take the spray park detour instead of the classic loop.
Cosley Lake Run - Glacier NP 2021

August 2021, quick afternoon lap out to Cosley Lake and back. Wish I would have gotten a permit to backpack further into the northern parts of Glacier. Absolutely stunning and look forward to getting back here in the future!

Hiking and backpacking in Glacier National Park August 2021. High line trail, Avalanche Lake, Red Eagle Lake, Triple Divide Pass, and Two Medicine Lake. Good to catch up with an old friend and take Brad on his first back packing trip! Looking forward to getting him into the heart of the Glacier wilderness in the future!
