@@whatsdeandoinginthailand I tend to agree regarding the gym , I haven`t seen any photos on line that show a gym , though on AGODA web site they do state that there is a gym with all the exercise equipment ie: " In addition to the garden and swimming pool, Amara Resort Hua Hin offers a fitness center for those who want to stay active during their vacation. I love that it is totally pet friendly ie: " pets are not just welcomed, but truly embraced. Hi, I think it was because I had The lady escorting me miked up, I have started to use Headphones to make sure it is Correct, sorry about that. as it was set for stereo i did not think it would be a problem but if the other person does not speak on the other channel then that is the problem. I just checked on single mike it works fine.

They might be similar in regards to live music, at the weekend or Friday night, but quite a few places do advertise live music. I don’t think Wonderland does live music so it would be the other bar areas off 94 or the Thai night club Chomchan Hua Hin, or as you say Binta. But checkout Maldives

Hi, that’s quite simple in Hua Hin as we have big blue plastic trash cans everywhere and you would normally come out of your house or villa and drop in the trash. In terms of recycling it will possibly take minutes before a bike rider or bike and sidecar looks in your bag for plastic or glass or anything recycling. Literally sometimes I am almost handing it to a person as you will often find people looking in the garbage for plastic or glass. Hope that helps

Maybe, however maybe some people cannot afford to live in Thailand after these changes as they only have a low pension income. For the wealthy then it is not a problem but for the not so wealthy it is. Thanks for your comment 😀🙏

@@whatsdeandoinginthailand Surely pension income would be exempt? Does Thailand have an income threshold below which no income tax is payable? Here in Australia no tax is levied on income below $18k

@@kohtime I agree, however the VAT is quite low and smaller business do not charge VAT so only the bigger businesses pass on the VAT. I agree that bringing money into Thailand should be a benefit as we spend the money in Thailand. Unfortunately we might get caught up in all the tax which means people will think twice before coming to Thailand. It’s such a shame, I really don’t want the hassle of getting a TIN and having to produce evidence that I have already paid tax and how much tax I have paid. Reporting is an issue in itself for retired expats, even the 90 day reporting can be an issue at times. Thanks for your comment

@@whatsdeandoinginthailand from what I can see we would also lose our tax free allowance in the uk for example where we don’t pay on the first 12.5k, seems to drag even that in. Certainly going to cause a few headaches
