59 minutes after posting my comment I managed to find one, almost like my complaining bare fruition. The needzone is at [-10256, -9872], on the eastern side of the ice bridge that is divided between Zverolova hill and Rybatskiy bay, on the western part of the pond between the two zones. It was the standard 80 - 105kg but it had a really low trophy, lower than even the video, 72-89 maybe? It was sub 90. It came out as a 79.54 trophy and 84kg. I shot it with a .243 from 300 meters, she was quartering away from me so I only got it's left lung. Ran for around 450 meters, I found it among the bushes to the north. GG, I'm happy to finally complete this map.

53 minutes ago I posted my previous comment. Since then I did the Lynx mission and I've been searching for a bear with a rare fur for the last 30 or so minutes. My original point still stands, the devs for some reason have no proper idea where the line between way too easy and hairpulling hard is.

After my previous comment I logged off for around 2-3 hours, now I'm back in business and I hope the bear is waiting for me

57 minutes after my previous comment I've just found the rare fur bear. I found it in the most north-western lake/pond of P'Yanyy forest. It was a dark brown fur, gold score.

I'm glad you're completing these missions, and I agree: some of them are really not well thought out at all! I'm not a fan of area specific regions (unless it's a huge region) and really pedantic requirements.

A lot of people are having problems with this mission. On my first attempt it didn't work, but on the second it did. Could be something to do with spotting the animals first; at the moment it is too early to tell.

If that is the process they should have that in the instructions for the mission

It's definitely a bug. I just got to The Hills mission on my second playthrough, and none of the landmarks will register. Hopefully they get onto it soon.

Did you spot any of the animals before getting the mission? I'm wondering if that is part of the problem. In my second attempt I didn't spot any of them until doing the mission, and I spotted those animals in roughly the same area as the first time.

@@jonotakesongames9361 actually I had already ran around and unlocked most of the map. Including hitting those points of interest before I started doing any missions. Then the mission to spot the 3 animals came up later. That 1 worked. But I went back to the 3 points of interest mission 3 times. Lol! It never would work. But I'm thinking that if I watch your video and do it exactly the same way. Maybe I can get away with it. Because I've already completed all the main story missions. Just a few sides left now.

Have you had any trouble with any of the other landmark missions? In my first playthrough none of them would work. I've tried staying away from them, but unfortunately the very first mission forces you to go within 50m of one, so I don't know if it'll work. The mission seems to only count them when you interact with them, but in other reserves getting within a certain distance of them counted, such as in New England and Emerald Coast.

@@jonotakesongames9361 No. Not that I can remember. I only remember ever having trouble with the sunrise in Med-Ved and the letter in Mississippi. No points of interest.

Sorry, I meant in this reserve. There are still two side missions involving landmarks that I couldn't complete in my first playthrough.

Same man weird how the landmarks don't register they were visited. Did u figure it out?

The landmark related missions seem to be bugged at the moment; I'm trying to see if there is a work around. It's suggested that visiting them before getting the mission bugs them, but I've had trouble with the Low Lands mission, and I hadn't been anywhere near the landmarks.

Which achievement do you mean exactly?

@@jonotakesongames9361 the “cuatro Colinas arc” achievement where I have to beat all of the arcs for cuatro Colinas. I did it a while ago and it hasn’t popped. I’m currently running through trying to get all achievements for the game and it’s looking like that will be the last one on the list

@@notwillsmith5105 Ah right. I'm not sure it if has been fixed or not; from what I remember each character had an achievement related to their missions being completed, and to unlock the achievement you had to harvest another animal after finishing a person's mission list. Then it would trigger some dialogue and unlock the achievement.

@@jonotakesongames9361 hmmm, guess I’m going to have to start over then. I got all the other achievements for it, even slam of glory, but not that one singular achievement. I’ll wait until I get the rest before I start completely over. Will my lodges be deleted? I have some solid trophies that I wouldn’t want to get rid of

@@notwillsmith5105 I'm not sure how lodges are affected, you might want to back your save up before starting over, just in case.

You'll need to buy the Weapon Pack 1 DLC for it to appear.

If you want to avoid hunting them at night then I would try finding some feeding need zones; preferably ones that go from 1500-1830. What I like to do sometimes is follow tracks backwards, so you might find a drinking zone, follow the tracks backwards until you find an eating zone. It doesn't work all the time, but it can help.
