I think it’s meant to be Memphis Boulevard and is their rip-off for Elvis Juice also by BrewDog. Amazing they are making a better beer for cheaper 😅 🍻

First off, I absolutely love the shirt! Madness were one of my favorites growing up. I like the two-tone ska dance style as well. I'm sure you did your share of that. Glad the Geordie Lager turned out nice. It shows there's nothing wrong with kit brewing. It's all a matter of brewing-process. The Aldi cans do remind me of Brew Dog. Great video as always. Thanks for the pointer, not that keen on the Greedy King (Green King/Moorland) beers usually but I love dark ales so I'll have to Give the Midnight Hen a bash. Would be nice if I can find it on draught as their XX mild is so rare these days?

@@SlurpyDave254 Many years ago, when living in Herts, I used to drink cask KK Mild when Greene Kings Biggleswade brewery was still going. Similar in flavour to McMullen AK as that was also originally classed as a "Light Mild" as in a lightly hopped pale.
@johnp8131 spot on, McMullens was a light mild in the vain of Timothy Taylor Golden Best. I hope AK is still going John, cheers👍

These Dark Rock all grain kits are top drawer. Batham Bitter is a cracker. Love the brewing method...can't wait for the finish product Mr G🍺👍

@@TinyShedBrewing Tell you what mate, the nitro surge may herald the return of the hangover headache. A bloke from John Smiths Brewery once told me the ‘smooth flow’ draft used liquid nitrogen to enhance the head on the beer, and that’s what caused the head ache.

Just back from ireland .had many guinness...but end of hols tried for first time murphys and beamish.after 30 years a guinness man.preferred these 2.giv them a go if u can get them in uk.

I actually find that the Draught can has slightly better flavour. The nitrosurge is creamer and visually resemebles a pint from a pub. But I find whatever the difference is in the mixture or pressure, that it seems to affect the taste. I find it slightly less balanced or just more bitter or something, can't really put my finger on it.

Congratulations on a successful brew. As I've said before, Dark Mild is one of my favorite styles. I'll probably brew one myself before summer's end, especially after seeing this video. It really is nectar. Cheers mate 🍺

Mild is so much better on cask than bottle in general...youve just proved it..great abv 3.7% for a Dark Mild. Youve done a grand job there Mr Grumpy...lovely pint👍🍺😊

You're correct Red Stripe was stronger. It has been brewed under licence in Bedford since 1976. Charles Wells originally brewed it there but Marstons (Carlsberg group) now run the Eagle brewey in Bedford taking over the brewing of all Charles Wells and Youngs beers too.
