2024 VIP Trip - Kota Kinabalu Malaysia
A big thank you to the 144 Australasian dealers, distributors and team members who joined us at our recent annual VIP Trip. It was an unforgettable week-long experience held in sunny Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia! It’s such a great opportunity to connect and celebrate the success of our network.
We are also thrilled to share the results of our 23rd Braemar Scotch Auction, held during the Gala Dinner at our annual VIP Conference trip.
Spirited and enthusiastic bidding from our dealers and distributors, matched dollar for dollar by the Seeley International Everglades Fund and supported by the generosity of our team, saw us collectively raise $223,380 for Variety, the Children's Charity and Samaritan's Purse.
This single bottle of scotch has now helped to raise over $2.9million. 100% proceeds go to children’s charities in Australia and around the world. A big thank you also to esteemed Auctioneer Vincent Doran who joined us for the 4th year running, for helping us reach this record result!
The Braemar Scotch story: The $10 Braemar Scotch bottle was jokingly gifted to Chairman Frank Seeley on the VIP trip back in 2001. Used for a prize at the auction, it raised $2500 that year, with the winning bidder regifting the unopened bottle for the conference the following year. It has since become one of the cornerstones of Seeley International’s charitable initiatives.
Thank you to everyone involved, for their generosity, and embodying our vision and calling - “For the Greater Good”

    We have Braemar ducted gas heating installed with cooling-on added. This is the worst gas heater ever. We installed in 6 years ago when we built our place and it always had issues since then. In the middle of the night, it turns off by itself with error messages - still happening after 6 years. Sometimes my hubby has to go up the celing because the warm air is just so weak and he finds the duct disconnected or something, then now the heater just doesn't work. When no warm air comes on, it just blows gush of cool air so much to the house and won't stop.. worst gas heater with so many issues

      @seeleyinternational Před 17 dny

      Hi there. When you first started having issues, did you raise them with the builder/installer to address? Or alternatively, have you been in contact with our Seeley service team for a call out to have a thorough inspection and respond to the error codes and diagnose the issue? We often see problems with installation which unfortunately we do not have control over, like for example the ductwork issue you mentioned - that then means the unit is not performing as well as it should be. We would highly recommend a site inspection, so we can gain an understanding of service history, go through the error log, thoroughly check over the installation and rectify the issues you are experiencing. Our service team would be very glad to assist, you can call them directly on 1300 650 644 or book a service online at www.seeleyinternational.com/find-a-service-agent/

      Hi Rhonda, you can select a different day to start your program, by pressing on that day at the top of your controller. Once you have selected your first block of time, you need to select the day/s you would like the program to run on. This is pictured in the video at 1:21, where you can see the desired days are being selected for that program - in this case Monday to Friday. You will get a pop up saying "multiple day selection." Work your way through each block using the steps outlined in the video, ensuring you select the days you want that program to run on, for each block. Hope this helps, thanks Diana at Seeley International.

      It's true, the principals of evaporative cooling have been identified as far back as 1350AD. The technology understandably over time has been advanced and adapted, and what we have now are far more sophisticated systems, focused on performance, energy efficiency and fresh air delivery. We have seen particularly in commercial spaces to which this video refers, a renewed focus on the importance of ventilation and indoor air quality in recent years. We have a blog on the history of evaporative cooling, if you would like to have a read here: www.seeleyinternational.com/blog/evaporative-cooling-history/

    shouldn't the hot air that's entered the building in the first process bring some humidity inside the building?

    • @seeleyinternational
      @seeleyinternational Před 2 měsíci

      You are correct, in humid environments, some humidity may enter the building through the system. However, as seen in this video, the air does not come in direct contact with water inside the Climate Wizard unit therefore no additional moisture is added like you would encounter from a traditional evaporative system.

    QLD hit 9800 MW consumption in late December due to air-conditioning, only 300MW short of it's all time peak. It only has about 16% renewables. You didn't show solar on the roof, so this solution is contributing to the burden on the grid. How does your solution which consumes about 80% fossil-based electricity from the grid and fresh water compare to a solar+refrigerative solution which would consume nothing, since you only need air-conditioning when it's not hot? QLD would be optimal for solar-driven airconditioning. Evaporative promotes fresh air as an advantage, but wouldn't solar+refrigerative + heatpump provide cold, dry and fresh air without consuming any water? Doesn't a heatpump remove your "fresh air" advantage since it consumes no water. My house has a heat pump just to provide constant fresh air in my house. Aren't heat pumps good enough today that solar + heat-pump is the optimal solution even without refrigeration?

    • @seeleyinternational
      @seeleyinternational Před 4 měsíci

      Hi and thank you for your comment. There are many factors that need to be taken into consideration when commissioning a commercial air conditioning system. Whilst there are situations in which your solution would work, this cannot be a one size fits all approach. In this case study, the combination of evaporative cooling and gas heating was cost effective and delivered significantly lower energy consumption in comparison to other equivalent rooftop package units. We explain why a reverse cycle system was not the ideal solution for this scenario in the full case study, you can find the link in the video description. Commercial HVAC solutions are engineered specifically for that site; and we pride ourselves on having a full range of HVAC solutions to meet our clients needs and wants. @seeleyinternational Před 5 měsíci

      Hi, I think you are referring to "pre-wet in progress" - this dialog box comes up when the cooler is first switched on, to inform you that the tank is filling up with water, and the pumps are working to wet the pads. This is a necessary process and when completed, the "pre-wet" dialog disappears and you are able to control temperature and fan speed.

      it uses indirect cooling so moisture isnt really added to the air unitl the second stage of direct cooling which is a section of the unit down stream that is pretty much a normal swamp cooler. the whole idea is to cool the fresh intake air with these large indirect cooling pads that are like 2x2x3 and have plastic cells with water and fresh exhaust air running through them while fresh air is drawn across the outside of the cell to precool the air before it goes through a normal swamp cooler, goes through the building and does its thing. they get much more complex but they require monthly maintenance in my opinion after servicing a good amount of these guys.

    Thank you for sharing, I am thinking of getting a Breezair supercool EXS180 how many square meters will this air-conditioning do without struggling and how many outlets can I have. Is it best getting a bigger unit so it will not struggle on very hot or humid days. Looking forward to hearing from you.

    May I ask if this product can work well ( stand alone) in the tropical country where the humid is high?

      depends on the RH during the actual peak temperature but you will still get much better results than standard evap. cooling
