Graham Swamp mountain bike trail is an approximately 7-mile loop trail in Flagler Beach, Florida. It is a surprisingly challenging terrain, considering that it is only a couple of miles from the beach. It's a ton of fun, the trail maintainers do a fantastic job, and it's well worth a visit!! Enjoy
Paisley Woods MTB Trail - Central Florida
zhlédnutí 3,4KPřed 5 lety
20 mile loop in the Ocala National Forest. a great cruising trail, with some undulating hills on the eastern half of the loop. This would be a great bike packing route, connecting Clearwater Lake Rec Area with Alexander Springs. Could be very sandy if there hasn't been much rain. It had been raining everyday (typical Florida summer) when I did this loop, so the trail was in excellent condition....

This is an amazing 28 mile loop trail in Colorado's Rocky Mountains. Located just outside of Aspen, this loop involves crossing 4 passes, each over 12,000ft altitude. This trip was done in a clockwise direction. Unfortunately, I lost almost all of my audio (narration) from the trip, so I had to put the video to music. Hope you enjoy!

    Was Alexander Springs the kind of place tat you could leave your camp gear, chairs, etc. out during the day, or did you pack up visible stuff while away from the campsite?

    • @travisscrambling2105
      @travisscrambling2105 Před 2 lety

      You can definitely leave gear out during the day. The actual springs are a short walk away but there are usually always people around. It’s a super popular campground. I haven’t heard of any issues.

  • @hawkatsea
    @hawkatsea Před 2 lety

    so are you saying those campgrounds on the trail are designated "walk-in"s (park at the entry) or are they accessible from outside the main entrance? planning a trip, wanting the cheapest option farthest from RV's

    • @travisscrambling2105
      @travisscrambling2105 Před 2 lety

      There are walk-in sites outside of the park, but there isn’t anywhere to park for them close by. They are pretty much just used by long distance, or multi-day, backpackers since the Florida National Scenic Trail passes right by there. But if you are parking at a trailhead somewhere and backpacking through that area, you can definitely stay at those sites without going into the park. Hope that helps.

    • @travisscrambling2105
      @travisscrambling2105 Před 3 lety

      I think this was toward the end of August, or early September. The trail wasn’t nearly as sandy as I had expected it to be. Other than a few spots, it was relatively fast and packed. It is pretty high, we’ll-drained soil in this part of the forest so I doubt it gets swampy at all. The trail was a lot of fun. I would highly recommend riding into Alexander Springs and taking a break. They have snacks and drinks. Then, head back to the trailhead. It makes for a great ride.
