This was first shown in April 1974, so it is 50 years old, but still worth watching ... unlike ALL the sitcoms that are made nowadays. I can't think of any recent comdieis that I find funny. RIP Bob & Thelma (sorry, I mean Rodney Bewes and Brigit Forsyth)

82p four a round ..70s ........😮 it were a about 28p a pint ....when I started drinking. I remember when pub £4 ...6pints pack 10 fag.s chip + pie pea.s on way home ..then. up early four school nest day 😊

The very first series were brilliant , I couldn't only recognize myself but most of my mates , even though I was a southerner . The BBC to save a few quid wiped the tapes clean , to reuse .
