My name is Adam Ragusea. I cook in my house, and I show you how you can too (in your house, not mine). I like to use my head when I cook, but I have no time for being fussy or fancy. I post a recipe video every Thursday, and some other kind of video about food every Monday (usually with science).

I don't know what kind of dipsticks Adam's responding to, but why bother?
S. Divinorum is not fun in general. There are much better fun chemicals.
Doggo!
Some guys think they’re so tough from eating meat. They literally just buy it at the store like you can with vegetables. Even hunting with a gun or bow isn’t really tough. Also, being particularly tough isn’t some universal apex
Glad to hear you getting better and doing what you want. Loving the new content!
So many harsh burns against internet tough-guy dumbasses at the end of this video and I love it so much (especially as someone with health issues that restrict some very and otherwise delicious common plant categories).
Scurvy GLUT1 GLUT3 GLUT4 Carbohydrate Dehydroascorbate. You're welcome.
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme: these are some herbs that work well with poultry. Roast an hour at 375!* Sung to the tune of Scarborough Fair, most famously recorded by Simon and Garfunkel. *375 F and also depends on weight
Can you eat the greens on a Chia pet?
"Basil's more like a salad green to me though." THANK YOU! Basil is one of the herbs I'd really like to have as part of a salad, sometimes more than it being a central part as a herb (obviously pesto is amazing and such). Sage is super underrated and we need to use it more in stuff.
Think you can get vitamin C from raw liver. But why would you want to?
"if poison then why tasty AF for humans?" i mean, eating poisons to find the safe limit is kinda our entire gimmick, & probably the reason why Aliens don't talk to us
Having takes a botany, phytochemistry, pharmacognosy and now a phytotherapy course while studying to become a pharmacist I cannot express how upset I am that the comeback of plant oriented medicinal therapy research has been hijacked by both carnivore advocates and swindlers alike. There is so much to be studied about the potential boons of the millions of secondary metabolites found in plants that could prove to be useful in therapy, but the most you hear about it is either liars saying they're all bad for you or people touting some tea as a cure all.
I think it was Lindybeige who did a video a while ago on the subject of "Why are only some plants poisonous?" and the answer was basically "Incorrect starting premise. They're all poisonous, we've just evolved to deal with certain varieties of poison so they no longer actively poison us". That's been an idea stuck in my head forever.
As an experienced psychonaut, I can easily say that salvia is one of the least pleasant drugs I've ever used. This has also been the very clear majority opinion among others I've discussed it with. I wouldn't suggest it.
video reeks of scientism. 👎
Where all my fellow stoners at that knew all about terpenes and trichomes already?
is this channel just an excuse to show off your jacked thighs?
I generally agree with the message of this video except the scuvy comment. Meat does provide all of the vitamins and minerals needed to survive. The Inuit eat only fish, whale and seals and had no scury until modern diets were forced on them.
The Internet sage on the herb sage giving us some food for thought!
ADAM BICEPGUSEA
I freaking love Adam's videos! Such a well-spoken and well-adjusted role-model man. I aspire to be more like him by the year, while still being authentically me, of course! hahaha
Oh man I forgot about chia pets, they used to be everywhere. Also unrelated, but damn man you rock in those short shorts. That's another thing that should be brought back
What are these rants about "guys on the internet"? Who cares? So weird.
you're the largest public figure ive seen speak out against that stupid the west is fallen type shit. gods work
Yoga, chi gong and a devotional Called“Jesus Calling” which sounded hokey to me when I first heard of it, but, man! Is it more affirming than anything I have ever used.
I'm gonna go in the other direction and say that I'm not really a fan of new Adam. I liked the fishtank stuff a lot actually but these recent videos are not hitting. I'm not really interested in someone who will snarkily rephrase opinions that I already believe. It's like for two minutes a video he turns into the food version of moistcritikal. Generic white man shares the most uncontroversial opinion on the planet but he says it as if he's very brave for doing so. I hope we can go back to being focused on food and education, but if this keeps up for a couple more months I'll probably unsubscribe which will be a sad moment for me.
Weed people: I recognize some of your big words, Magic Man.
1:45 can some English speaker point out the difference in pronunciation of "terpenes"? I'm not a native speaker and the difference seems really subtle
As soon as he showed the mint patch i went 'oh lord...'
I want to see Adam do a whole carnivore diet analysis.
I never had a chia pet, but I did have a cress head.
it simultaneously makes me sad and makes me laugh that this video might be the first time that someone has learned about hostile architecture
Whatever happened to the silver pan video
Should never listen to this guy
i heard somewhere that one of the reasons humans have evolved to take the "poisons" in culinary herbs, is that they keep other foods safe by killing bacteria and stuff. no idea how true it is but could make sense.
Lamiaceae come from the Lamium, the dead-nettles, because in all the largely known plants of this family, the ones used to name it are small weeds no one knows XD
Why does the shed in your garden look so photoshopped in? Like a cartoon version of a shed!
He is only going to make himself more crazy and depressed if he keeps talking like this. Its sad. I wish you could just stick to the cooking and science.
Man that chia pet comment really hit home. I'm going to have to spend many hours of self conteplation deconstructing my life choices
Your greenhouse is dreamy!
NO ADAM I'LL EAT MY VEGGIES, PLEASE DON'T CALL RYAN GOSLING 😭😭😭😭😭😭
wait... he's black, maybe he's from the Bronx where apparently (according to NY Gov Hochul) black people dont know what computers are.. How has Reginald Smith been able to build a business without computers? Oh yeah, that's right, black people DON'T NEED HELP FROM DEMOCRATS. Period.
I fucking love this content please keep on retiring
Uhg, You make me wish I could keep sage or rosemary alive. Every time I try planting some it dies, but I keep trying!
Pig meat literally accumulates fecal matter within the muscle and fat of the animal - the biological process of this disgusting process is called "boar taint". Its literally unclean meat.
Humans can eat quite a wide range of stuff, more than most species. We are the poison eaters.
Salvia divinorum was NOT a fun trip.
In life everything in moderation is the best option.
