    Having a vise on a stand to hold your work on the anvil - absolute stroke of genius! Definitely going to adapt that to my workshop.

      You can call him Steve. Truth be told, I made it my self so I have no idea if that kind of an apparatus has an actual name. It has a tense enough spring to keep the clamp closed and a magnet at the bottom for easy set up.

      It's a mixture of phosphoric acid and citric acid. Some people use hydrochloric acid but that needs to be neutralized and used in a well ventilated area.

      Thank you! I've been busy with other work so I haven't had time to shoot anything. I'm also a bit uncertain about my next forging projects because I'm not too interested in making videos about some basic stuff. It might still take a while before I publish something new but I'm trying to keep this channel alive.

    I really like this style skull, what size bar stock are you starting with?

      I use 5x30mm (3/16x1") but a thicker one is also fine.

      I could do a shop tour video at some point. But yes, I do have different slots and loops on the anvil base to keep the tools at hand.

    Awesome stuff man. I would maybe try and find some gnarly hardware instead of standard screws. Some nice matte black round topped flat-head screws would look baller on your stuff! real nice Old-fashioned look to it!! Amazing stuff though!! :)

      Thanks! I agree that some other type of screw would have been better and a forged nail might have been the best choice. That just happened to be the best option readily available. :D
