I have Chevy Colorado diesel 2017, I had a problem with gas regulator from the gas pump, I change it and now it looks like I have faulty wire, I need to change the wiring from the gas regulator sensor ... I need the wire diagram for the gas regulator sensor so I can change the wiring, can you please help me or tell me where I can find the wire diagram, I really appreciate .. Thank you!

Thanks for the tip. Hopefully mine is original after all this years, 08 since the top is too rusty for the allenhead. The channel locks will have a much better grip. Will let you know tomorrow. We ran out of time tonight

Awesome job... very helpful, well documented, well explained... good job. I didn't replace the filter seal.... looked like it was gonna be a real pain and the parts guy told me that the service guys throw the seal away that comes with the kit and just leave the old one in. Thanks.

I guess you would’ve had to buy one of these new when they first came out in order to get one, because I’ve been looking for days for a used one and never see them for sale, just the 4 cylinders, 5 cylinders, and V6s. The V8 Colorado’s are like finding a single needle in a field of multiple haystacks.

Did you need to modify the flywheel for a zf5 clutch? Pilot bearing? Drill new pressure plate holes? Also does the stock 12 valve ring gear work with the 6.0 starter? Thanks.

I just bought a 2006 Chevy Colorado Z 71 yesterday. I really like the truck, but I have not used it enough yet to find these issues. However, on my way home, it died on me one time. I tried to turn it on a couple times it wouldn’t start and then I tried again a few minutes later and then it started. Thankfully, I made it home. But today I’m going to go in and out of the truck and see, the status of everything. If you have any more information about this, I’d appreciate it and thank you so much for your time and information.

Love these trucks we have matching black 2009, 2011 5.3 Crew Cabs and couldn't be happier. They hold up so well to most everything thrown at it.

i HAVE A 2009 Colorado SPORT TRUCK. It is a rare truck. What makes it a sport truck is the vin number. It is Inferno Orange Metallic The gear ratio 3.42:1. I only drive it in the summer time. It has 34000 miles.

That rib you cut is a very common cracking point on the zf5, but I believe they only crack because the transfer case is hanging off the back unsupported. I think you’ll be fine since you’re adding a separate TC support.

Yer on the right track, but I cut the other end. I take a screwdriver & punch a hole through the top of the filter & the snips slide right in and cut to the edge then around in a circle, takes a less than a minute.

DONT REMOVE THE V8 emblems and 4x4 Z71 decals, those trucks are so rare, those V8 emblems and decals make that a very cool Colorado!

I remember seeing these at the dealers when they were new, I live in Phoenix and have NEVER SEEN ONE on the road! I owned a 07 Colorado with 4 banger, I now own my paid off 2023 Colorado Trail Boss! 310hp and got the 430# torque calibration!

Can you tell me which side controls the tail lights? I thought I had a burnt out left tail light, I changed it and it still does not work.

Nice truck, love my 09 silver birch that I bought new with the 5.3. Just put on my 3rd set of Bridgestone Dueller at/s like it came with from factory. 2nd set was put on in 2015 and lasted till 2024. Hopefully the truck holds out in Indiana weather to put on another set!!

Still have my 09 Colorado 5.3 and still love it and still looks like new. Couldn’t do that 5cyl.

Thank you for the video. I haven't messed with it yet but the problem i'm having with my 05 Colorado is the gear shifter lock mechanism being unlocked when my headlights are turned on as if i'm pressing on the brake and it flips back and forth from on and off sometimes or operates normal when the headlights are off. I'm thinking it might be something to do with the grounds or the brake light switch but it's not effecting the brake lights. wish me luck

My 2006 Chevy Colorado only receives 9 volts to the ignition switch and clutch switch when the key goes to start position. Im pretty sure this loss of voltage is causing my s terminal on the starter to not get any voltage as well. Ik the battery alternator and starter are good 100% . Has to be a ground issue somewhere no?
