Multi Fandom Eastern Inspirations Medley
So, ever since A Hat In Time put out their trailer for their "Nyakuza Metro" DLC, I've been enamored with their new track "Rush Hour." As I listened, it reminded me of a few other tracks in certain ways. The idea took hold in my mind to make a medley centered around those Eastern-inspired tracks, with particular emphasis on the similar sounding plucked string instruments and using the Hat In Time tracks as a sort of throughline weaving the whole thing together.

I love this medley, although I miss your 40-minute series 6 version that used to be up. I used to listen to it all the time while getting work done.
Something that always struck me as a powerful message on this music is this: Trunks' timeline...is the true timeline. Before the time machine, what Trunks went through was what really happened in our story. We lost Goku before the fight began. The Z Fighters were all murdered. Gohan was alone, and we eventually lost him as well. Trunks was the last legacy of our heroes. The horror and pain of what was lost is PERFECTLY captured in this music.

The original trunks theme was never used in the show outside of a commercial
Scott Morgan, one of the three composers who created the bulk of the "Faulconer" score, yet went uncredited, mentioned that more of these Trunks songs were actually edited into the episodes they sent to Funimation, but Funi decided to swap them out with other tracks, probably because they thought the music wasn't exciting enough for the scenes they were originally placed in.
