@@eugenepolan1750 Eugene, this comment was a waste of time. In the time it took you to write that comment you could’ve pulled up the 0-60 times and fuel economy figures on Google. I’ll save you some time though and summarize it for you: neither are economical and both are slow AF. The V8 model is obviously going to be less economical, but faster. The point of the video was that other than the obvious, there’s not so much of a difference between the platforms that it would justify spending the extra 10k or so to go with the V8 if you’re a non-car enthusiast or someone who doesn’t care about having the fastest car. The V6 model is quick enough and comfortable as a daily driver. They look basically the same, they drive basically the same, and they both have the same somewhat mediocre quality interiors you find in most American vehicles. If you’re not getting the Hellcat then you might as well just buy the V6 model.

@@1904Gil It was code P0012 and proprietary code B8. I changed both cam sensors and ordered a Besian vanos solenoid. It still didn’t solve my issue. Not sure if one of the sensors I ordered was bad or not though. It’s at a shop getting diagnosed because I don’t have the time to deal with it anymore. Only order OEM sensors.

@@witnessriders Ironically, I used my phone to make this video discussing cameras. I like to use my phone for videos that’ll be made into shorts. Your android camera is probably better than my iPhone one.

@@aysechrystaka 😂 It’s not a bad daily. I had one for a month while my car was in the shop and it drove fine. I got multiple compliments on it too from people thinking I replaced one of my cars. Non-car people don’t even know the difference between the models.

So, the rear differential is completely different and not a common setup. I’ve talked to BMW service center and an independent shop and both didn’t know what I was talking about when I initially asked them about the full procedure. I recommend you search on the bimmerpost forum for a detailed explanation of the fill procedure. There are two chambers that require two different types of fluids. I believe the outer chambers are 75W85 and the center 75W90. There should be 3 drain plugs and 3 fill plugs, but I can’t remember. I got an independent shop to do the work for $75 USD. If you can find someone to do it for a fair price the time it takes it much more worthwhile to have a shop do it than doing it yourself imo. If you have a lift it’s probably not bad. If you just don’t have a shop around you that you trust then again I encourage you to search the procedure on bimmerpost and follow it exactly how they outline it. Hope that helps.
